Abstract
【解決手段】被膜付き基材は、基材と、基材表面を覆う炭素系ナノ材料の積層構造被膜とを備える。炭素系ナノ材料は、カーボンナノチューブ、グラフェン、フラーレン、カーボンブラックおよびケッチェンブラックからなる群から選ばれたものである。

Description
イソペンチルアルコール(イソアミルアルコール)を溶媒とし、これに多層カーボンナノチューブ(CNT)を重量基準で1%、CNTの分散成分として界面活性剤を重量基準で0.8%添加した後、超音波攪拌器で混合し、さらにその溶液をビーズミルにて混合・攪拌処理することでCNTの凝集体を解消してイソペンチルアルコール溶液中にCNTが単分散状態で存在する1%濃度CNT分散液を作製した。
メチルエチルケトンを溶媒とし、これに多層CNTを重量基準で1%、CNTの分散成分として界面活性剤を重量基準で0.7%添加した後、超音波攪拌器で混合し、さらにその溶液をビーズミルにて混合・攪拌処理することでCNTの凝集体を解消してメチルエチルケトン溶液中にCNTが単分散状態で存在する1%濃度CNT分散液を作製した。このCNT分散液中に純アルミニウム板を浸漬し、取り出した後に80℃で乾燥し、さらに界面活性剤を熱分解すべく、真空雰囲気で500℃にて1時間の加熱処理を施した。その後、アルミニウム基材表面にCNTをより強固に固定するため、真空雰囲気で600℃にて1時間の熱処理を行うことで、アルミニウム板とCNTの接触部に炭化アルミニウム(Al4C3)を形成し、このAl4C3を介してチタン板表面へのCNTの固着を強化した。これにより、単分散状態のCNTが積層構造の被膜としてアルミニウム表面に形成できる。得られた試料について、実施例1と同様の方法・条件においてボールオンディスク式摩耗試験を行い、摩擦係数の測定を行った。また、比較として、純アルミニウム板についても同様の摩耗試験を実施した。
イソプロピルアルコールを溶媒とし、これに多層CNTを重量基準で0.5%、CNTの分散成分として界面活性剤を重量基準で0.35%添加した後、超音波攪拌器で混合し、さらに、その溶液をビーズミルにて混合・攪拌処理することでCNTの凝集体を解消してイソプロピルアルコール溶液中にCNTが単分散状態で存在するような0.5%濃度CNT分散液を作製した。また、基材として、重量基準で0.5%のチタン(Ti)を含む銅合金(Cu−0.5%Ti)を準備した。この板材を上記のCNT分散液中に浸漬し、取り出した後に80℃で乾燥し、さらに界面活性剤を熱分解すべく、真空雰囲気で600℃にて1時間の加熱処理を施した。その後、Cu−0.5%Ti合金製基材の表面にCNTをより強固に固定するため、真空雰囲気で950℃にて1時間の熱処理を行うことで、Cu−0.5%Ti合金板とCNTの接触部に炭化チタニウム(TiC)を形成し、このTiCを介してCu−0.5%Ti合金製基材表面へのCNTの固着を強化した。これにより、単分散状態のCNTが積層構造被膜としてCu−0.5%Ti合金表面に形成できる。得られた試料について、実施例1と同様の方法・条件においてボールオンディスク式摩耗試験を行い、摩擦係数の測定を行った。その結果、何も処理を施していないCu−0.5%Ti合金基材を用いた場合の平均摩擦係数は0.593であるのに対して、CNT積層構造被膜を形成した場合の値は、0.184と低く、また変動幅も小さい。さらに、試験後においても、摺動部においてはCNT積層構造被膜が残存しており、摩擦係数の低減効果と優れた耐摩耗性を有することを確認した。
イソプロピルアルコールを溶媒とし、これにグラフェンを重量基準で1%、グラフェンの分散成分として界面活性剤を重量基準で0.125%添加した後、超音波攪拌器で混合し、さらに、その溶液をビーズミルにて混合・攪拌処理することでグラフェンの凝集体を解消してイソプロピルアルコール溶液中にグラフェンが単分散状態で存在するような1%濃度グラフェン分散液を作製した。また、基材として、重量基準で9%のアルミニウム(Al)を含むマグネシウム合金(Mg−9%Al)を準備した。このMg合金製板材を上記のグラフェン分散液中に浸漬し、取り出した後に80℃で乾燥し、さらに界面活性剤を熱分解すべく、真空脱気後にアルゴンガスを封入した雰囲気中で450℃にて1時間の加熱処理を施した。その後、Mg合金製基材表面において、グラフェンをより強固に固着するため、真空脱気後にアルゴンガスを封入した雰囲気中で500℃にて1時間の熱処理を行うことで、Mg合金板とグラフェンの接触部にAl2MgC2化合物を形成し、このAl2MgC2化合物を介してMg合金製基材表面へのグラフェンの固着を強化した。これにより、単分散状態のグラフェンがネットワーク状の積層被膜としてMg合金板表面に形成できる。得られた試料について、実施例1と同様の方法・条件においてボールオンディスク式摩耗試験を行い、摩擦係数の測定を行った。
実施例1で作製した、1%CNT分散液を用いて純チタン基材表面に作製したCNT積層構造被膜サンプルと、純チタン基材のみのサンプルを準備し、それぞれの表面に鉱物系潤滑エンジンオイル(Motor oil 10W-30 SL/CF)を塗布した。

- 基材と、
前記基材表面を覆う炭素系ナノ材料の積層構造被膜とを備え、
前記炭素系ナノ材料は、カーボンナノチューブ、グラフェン、フラーレン、カーボンブラックおよびケッチェンブラックからなる群から選ばれたものである、被膜付き基材。 - 前記炭素系ナノ材料は、それぞれが重なり合ってネットワーク構造を形成している、請求項1に記載の被膜付き基材。
- 前記基材は、チタン、アルミニウム、鉄、銅、マグネシウム、ニッケルおよびこれらの合金からなる群から選ばれた一種の金属または合金である、請求項1または2に記載の被膜付き基材。
- 前記基材と前記積層構造被膜との界面において、前記基材を構成する元素と前記炭素系ナノ材料とが反応して化合物を形成している、請求項3に記載の被膜付き基材。
- 金属または合金の基材の表面を炭素系ナノ材料の積層構造被膜で覆った被膜付き基材の製造方法であって、
炭素系ナノ材料を分散させた溶液を準備する工程と、
前記基材表面を前記溶液で濡らす工程と、
前記溶液で濡れた前記基材表面を乾燥する工程と、
前記乾燥後の基材を真空雰囲気または不活性ガス雰囲気中において300℃〜600℃の温度範囲で加熱する工程とを備える、被膜付き基材の製造方法。 - 前記加熱工程後に、さらに基材を真空雰囲気または不活性ガス雰囲気において600℃〜1000℃の温度範囲で加熱する工程を備える、請求項5に記載の被膜付き基材の製造方法。
- 前記溶液は、水系溶媒または有機溶媒である、請求項5または6に記載の被膜付き基材の製造方法。
- 前記基材表面を前記溶液で濡らす工程は、前記基材を前記溶液中に浸漬することである、請求項5〜7のいずれかに記載の被膜付き基材の製造方法。
