Claims (1)

  1. ナノスコピック触媒粒子を担持した微細構造化担体ウィスカを含むナノ構造化要素を含んで成る燃料電池カソード触媒であって、
    前記ナノスコピック触媒粒子が、第1および第2の層の交互堆積によって製造され、
    真空堆積によって形成された前記第1の層が白金を含み、
    真空堆積によって形成された前記第2の層が、鉄と、マンガンである第2の金属との合金または均質混合物であり、
    前記第2の層における前記第2の金属に対する鉄の原子数比が0.01〜10であり、
    前記第2の層に対する前記第1の層の平面相当厚さの比が0.3〜5であり、
    前記第1および第2の層の平均二層平面相当厚さが10nm未満であり、
    前記平面相当厚さは、層の全質量が、表面として同じ投影面積を覆う平面にわたり均一に分散したと仮定して算出されるものである、
    燃料電池カソード触媒。
