【解決手段】樹脂層111cを含むラミネートフィルム製外装部材111の内部に発電要素112が収容され、前記外装部材の外周部113が封止された電池本体11と、他の電池を積層した際に互いの前記外周部の間に配置され、前記電池本体を所定位置に固定する固定部121を有するスペーサ12と、を備え、前記外周部のうちの少なくとも前記固定部の周囲であって、前記外周部と前記スペーサとの重畳部14を包含する範囲H1に、弾性樹脂のインサート成形により弾性樹脂部13が形成されている。

Description
図1は本発明の一実施の形態に係る二次電池の完成状態を示す斜視図、図2は当該二次電池の主たる構成部材に分解した状態を示す分解斜視図である。図1及び図2に示すように、本例の二次電池1は、薄型扁平状の電池本体11と、スペーサ12と、これら電池本体とスペーサとを包含する範囲に形成された弾性樹脂部13と、を備える。
図9は発明の他の実施形態に係る二次電池であり、図1の点線IXで囲う部分の拡大図である。図10は発明の他の実施形態に係る二次電池の平面図であり、図11は図10の点線XIで囲う部分の拡大図である。本例では上述した第1実施形態に対して、脆弱部200を設ける点が異なる。これ以外の構成は上述した第1実施形態と同じであるため、その記載を援用する。
図17は発明の他の実施形態に係る二次電池1であり、図10の点線XIで囲う部分の拡大図に相当する図である。図18は図17のXVIII−XVIII線に沿う断面図である。本例では上述した第2実施形態に対して、脆弱部200の構成が異なる。これ以外の構成は上述した第1実施形態及び第2実施形態と同じであるため、その記載を適宜、援用する。

Claims (22)
- 外装部材の内部に発電要素が封入された電池本体と、
他の電池本体を積層した際に互いの前記電池本体の間に配置され、前記電池本体を所定位置に固定するスペーサと、を備え、
前記電池本体と前記スペーサとが弾性体を介して連結されている薄型電池。 - 請求項1に記載の薄型電池において、
前記スペーサに、前記電池本体へ入力される外力の入力方向に対し、対向する面を有する補強部が形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項2に記載の薄型電池において、
前記補強部は、通孔、凹部、リブのいずれかである薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記電池本体の外周部のうちの前記弾性体が形成された範囲以外の範囲の外周部に、当該外周部の端面を封止するように他の弾性体が形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項4に記載の薄型電池において、
前記外装部材は、樹脂層を含むラミネートフィルム製外装部材であり、
前記他の弾性体の硬度は、前記樹脂層の硬度より小さい薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記スペーサの長尺側の長さは、当該スペーサが配置される前記電池本体の外周部の長さ以上である薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記外装部材は、樹脂層を含むラミネートフィルム製外装部材であり、
前記弾性体の硬度は、前記樹脂層の硬度より小さい薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記スペーサの強度は、前記発電要素の電極板の強度より大きい薄型電池。 - 請求項1に記載の薄型電池において、
前記電池本体は、前記外装部材の外周部が封止され、
前記スペーサは、前記電池本体を前記所定位置に固定する固定部を有する薄型電池。 - 請求項9に記載の薄型電池において、
前記電池本体と前記スペーサとの重畳部を包含する範囲に、弾性樹脂のインサート成形により弾性樹脂部が形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項9又は10に記載の薄型電池において、
前記固定部は、前記電池本体の両端に設けられている薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体に、脆弱部が形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12に記載の薄型電池において、
前記脆弱部は、前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体を切り欠いた切り欠き部により形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12に記載の薄型電池において、
前記脆弱部は、前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体と前記外装部材の外周部との境界面の少なくとも一部に形成され、
前記脆弱部の密着強度は、前記脆弱部が形成されない前記境界面の密着強度より低い薄型電池。 - 請求項14に記載の薄型電池において、
前記脆弱部は、前記外装部材の外周部の外方に位置する一端から、前記外装部材の外周部の内方に位置する他端までの間の一部に形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項14に記載の薄型電池において、
前記脆弱部は、前記外装部材の外周部の外方に位置する一端から、前記外装部材の外周部の内方に位置する他端にかけて形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12〜16の何れか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体は、前記外装部材の外周部に形成され、
前記脆弱部は、前記外周部の内方に位置する前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体に形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12〜16の何れか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記弾性体又は他の弾性体は、前記外装部材の外周部に、弾性樹脂のインサート成形により形成され、
前記脆弱部は、前記外周部における前記弾性樹脂の注入口に対して前記弾性樹脂の下流側の位置に形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12〜16の何れか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記外装部材の外周部の一部から外部へ導出されている端子をさらに備え、
前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体は、前記外装部材の外周部に形成され、
前記脆弱部は、前記一部以外の前記外周部に形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項12〜16の何れか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体は、前記外装部材の外周部に形成され、
前記脆弱部は、前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体と前記外装部材の外周部との境界面の少なくとも一部分に形成され、
前記脆弱部の密着強度は前記弾性体又は前記他の弾性体の母材強度より小さい薄型電池。 - 樹脂層を含むラミネートフィルム製外装部材の内部に発電要素を封入し、電池本体を得る工程と、
前記電池本体を所定位置に固定するスペーサを準備する工程と、
前記電池本体と前記スペーサとを弾性体で一体的に成形する工程と、を備える薄型電池の製造方法。 - 樹脂層を含むラミネートフィルム製外装部材の内部に発電要素を収容して、前記外装部材の外周部を封止し、電池本体を得る工程と、
前記電池本体を所定位置に固定する固定部を有するスペーサを準備する工程と、
前記スペーサを、前記電池本体の外周部に重畳させた状態で、インサート成形の成形型にセットする工程と、
前記外周部のうちの少なくとも前記固定部の周囲であって、前記外周部と前記スペーサとの重畳部を包含する範囲に、弾性樹脂を充填してインサート成形を行い、当該範囲に弾性樹脂部を形成する工程と、を備える薄型電池の製造方法。
