Abstract
【解決手段】ガスワイピング装置100は、溶融金属11が貯留されているメッキ浴槽10と、メッキ浴槽10上部に載置された箱状体20とを備えている。箱状体20は、内部に、帯状体30の幅方向に沿って設けられた管状部材25a,25bと、管状部材25a,25bのそれぞれに帯状体30を挟むように対向して設けられたガスワイピングノズル26a,26bと、ガスワイピングノズル26aの両端においてガスワイピングノズル26b方向に向かって延設された延設部材28a,28bと、ガスワイピングノズル26bの両端においてガスワイピングノズル26a方向に向かって延設された延設部材29a、29bとを有する。

Description
溶融Znー6質量%Al−2.9質量%Mg系めっき鋼板を、図2(b)に示すガスワイピング装置を用いて製造した。また、比較例として、図2(b)から延設部材28,29を除いたガスワイピング装置を用いて溶融Znー6質量%Al−2.9質量%Mg系めっき鋼板を製造した。これらそれぞれの条件で製造しためっき鋼板について、Zn11Mg2系の相が晶出した斑点模様の単位面積あたりの発生個数の割合を表1に示す。なお、発生個数の割合は、比較例を1としている。この結果、本発明のガスワイピング装置を用いることで、スプラッシュによる斑点模様の発生を大幅に低減できることがわかる。
なお、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の趣旨に基づいて種々の変形が可能であり、これらを本発明の範囲から排除するものではない。例えば、上記実施形態において、延設部材28a,28b,29a,29bのそれぞれは板状部材からなるものであるが、該板状部材からなるものに限られず、棒状部材または筒状部材などであってもよく、少なくとも第1延設部材の先端部と第3延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置されているとともに、少なくとも第2延設部材の先端部と第4延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置され、スプラッシュ付着を抑制できるものであれば、どのような形状の部材からなるものであってもよい。

Claims (2)
- 溶融金属メッキ浴から引き上げられる鋼帯の表面に付着した過剰溶融金属を除去するために前記鋼帯を挟んで対向配置されている第1ガスワイピングノズルおよび第2ガスワイピングノズルと、
前記鋼帯の幅方向に沿って設けられ、前記第1のワイピングノズルに接続されている第1の管状部材と、
前記鋼帯の幅方向に沿って設けられ、前記第2のワイピングノズルに接続されている第2の管状部材と、
前記第1のガスワイピングノズル、前記第2のガスワイピングノズル、前記第1の管状部材および前記第2の管状部材を包囲する箱状体と、
前記第1の管状部材の外壁に一端が固定され、他端が前記箱状体の内壁に固定されている第1の仕切り部材と、
前記第2の管状部材の外壁に一端が固定され、他端が前記箱状体の内壁に固定されている第2の仕切り部材と、
を備えるガスワイピング装置であって、
前記第1のガスワイピングノズルの幅方向一端部から前記第2のガスワイピングノズルの方向に向かって延設されている第1延設部材と、
前記第1のガスワイピングノズルの幅方向他端部から前記第2のガスワイピングノズルの方向に向かって延設されている第2延設部材と、
前記第2のガスワイピングノズルの幅方向一端部から前記第1のガスワイピングノズルの方向に向かって延設されている第3延設部材と、
前記第2のガスワイピングノズルの幅方向他端部から前記第1のガスワイピングノズルの方向に向かって延設されている第4延設部材と、
をさらに備え、
少なくとも前記第1延設部材の先端部と前記第3延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置されているとともに、少なくとも前記第2延設部材の先端部と前記第4延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置されている
ことを特徴とするガスワイピング装置。 - 前記第1のガスワイピングノズルおよび前記第2のガスワイピングノズルは、互いの距離が所定の範囲内で変更可能となるように、これらのうち少なくともいずれか一方が他方に対して平行移動可能であって、
前記第1のガスワイピングノズルと前記第2のガスワイピングノズルとの間が前記所定の範囲内における最大距離にあるときであっても、少なくとも前記第1延設部材の先端部と前記第3延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置されているとともに、少なくとも前記第2延設部材の先端部と前記第4延設部材の先端部とが装置上下方向に重なるように配置されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガスワイピング装置。
