Abstract
【解決手段】融点が異なる異種金属材料における鋼材11(高融点材料)とアルミニウム材12(低融点材料)を接合予定位置に位置づけ、鋼材11に回転ツール13を回転させながら押し当てて挿入し、この回転ツール13の挿入位置を鋼材11が突き破られない位置に調整し、鋼材11を回転ツール13との摩擦熱により、アルミニウム材12を前記摩擦熱の伝熱により、それぞれ部分的に軟化させて塑性流動化し、これらの鋼材11とアルミニウム材12を回転ツール13により部分的に撹拌して摩擦撹拌点接合させるものである。

Claims (6)
- 融点が異なる異種金属材料における高融点材料と低融点材料を接合予定位置に位置づけ、
前記高融点材料に回転ツールを回転させながら押し当てて挿入し、この回転ツールの挿入位置を前記高融点材料が突き破られない位置に調整し、
前記高融点材料を前記回転ツールとの摩擦熱により、前記低融点材料を前記摩擦熱の伝熱により、それぞれ部分的に軟化させて塑性流動化し、これらの高融点材料と低融点材料を前記回転ツールにより部分的に撹拌して摩擦撹拌接合させることを特徴とする異種金属材料の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールの挿入位置は、前記回転ツールの先端が高融点材料と低融点材料との合せ面から前記高融点材料側に0.05mm〜0.6mmの位置にあるように調整することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 前記回転ツールは、鋼製で丸棒形状に形成されており、直径が3mm〜10mmに設定されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 前記回転ツールの回転数は、75rpm〜750rpmに設定されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 前記高融点材料が鉄材であり、低融点材料がアルミニウム材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法により高融点材料と低融点材料とが接合されて得られた異種金属材料接合体。
