Abstract
【解決手段】反応型火災抑制輸送剤は、反応ゾーンにおいて触媒型火災抑制剤を放出するために用いられ、この触媒型火災抑制剤が、自然発生流路によって下流側に向かい、保炎領域の近傍に運ばれ、例えば航空機における火災抑制を行なう。反応型火災抑制剤はまた、発射体において、及び/又は、例えば加圧による火災抑制剤の推進によって配送されてもよい。

Description
2.酸化剤が、部分的に囲まれた容積に出入りするための一つ以上の開口であり、図1において2及び5で示されたものと;
3.可燃性燃料源であり、図1において3で示されたものと;
4.発火源。
(ii)酸化剤の流れを、不活性ガス(例えばN2、CO2、Ar)で置換あるいは制限する。
(iii)燃焼ゾーンから熱を奪い、自立燃焼に必要な温度よりも低い温度に冷却する(例えば、液体水を蒸発させるか、NaHCO3を熱分解する)。
(iv)流体の機械的せん断を利用して、酸化剤と燃料の混合を妨害する(すなわち、火を吹き消す)。
(v)火炎化学反応を妨害する(例えばハロン、特許文献1に記載された不安定臭素抑制剤、CF3I等)。
2.爆燃(deflagration):亜音速の燃焼波。
3.爆轟(detonation):超音速の燃焼波。
Claims (9)
- 燃料源と空気取入口と出口とを有する構造であって、
前記取入口及び出口が前記構造中を流れる空気流路をもたらすようにされた構造と、反応型抑制剤と、前記反応型抑制剤が反応して触媒型火災抑制剤を発生させる反応ゾーンであって、前記反応型抑制剤が前記構造内の発火点と関連付けられた火災から離れた前記反応ゾーンに接触させる前記反応ゾーンと、前記に関連付けられた投入ポイントであって、前記反応型抑制剤を選択的に放出して前記反応ゾーンに接触させることにより、前記触媒型火災抑制剤が空気流路によって運ばれて前記火災を抑制するようにした前記投入ポイントとを含むことを特徴とする火災抑制システム。 - 請求項1に記載の火災抑制システムにおいて、前記反応型抑制剤は、前記投入ポイントの近傍で化学的または物理的に反応して前記触媒型火災抑制剤を発生させることを特徴とする火災抑制システム。
- 請求項1に記載の火災抑制システムにおいて、前記反応型抑制剤の少なくとも一部は、前記火災の下流側に投入され、前記触媒型火災抑制剤は、前記空気流路に逆らって推進されて前記火災を抑制することを特徴とする、火災抑制システム。
- 請求項1に記載の火災抑制システムにおいて、前記投入ポイントは、潜在的発火源に近接して流れる空気流路近傍に設けられ、前記投入ポイントを介して前記反応型抑制剤を投入することにより前記化学種を形成して前記空気流路により運搬し前記潜在的発火源における火災を触媒的に抑制するための制御システムをさらに、有することを特徴とする火災抑制システム。
- 請求項4に記載の火災抑制システムにおいて、前記反応ゾーンは前記火災から上流側にあることを特徴とする火災抑制システム。
- 火災の近傍に反応型抑制剤を含む容器を発射することで、前記反応型抑制剤を前記反応ゾーンに投入し、前記反応ゾーンにおいて前記反応型抑制剤が、火炎化学反応に触媒的に干渉する化学種を生じるようにすることと、前記容器から前記反応型抑制剤を放出することで、前記化学種を前記火災に運ぶことを含むことを特徴とする火災抑制方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法において、前記化学種は、その少なくとも一部が、前記容器の運動量により前記火災に運ばれることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法において、前記化学種は、その少なくとも一部が、前記容器の爆破により前記火災に運ばれることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法において、前記化学種は、その少なくとも一部が、前記容器の破砕により前記火災に運ばれることを特徴とする方法。
