Abstract
【解決手段】 メチオニンの製造方法は、5−(β−メチルメルカプトエチル)ヒダントインを加水分解する加水分解工程と、加水分解後の反応液に二酸化炭素を導入して晶析を行いメチオニンを得る晶析工程とを含む。晶析工程では、加水分解反応液に導入する二酸化炭素として、水蒸気改質部13で水蒸気改質反応させて生成される改質ガスから二酸化炭素分離部15で分離された二酸化炭素と、炭化水素加熱炉112および改質反応加熱炉132における純酸素燃焼で発生する燃焼排ガスから排ガス分離部17で分離された二酸化炭素とを用いる。

Description
5−(β−メチルメルカプトエチル)ヒダントインを加水分解する加水分解工程と、
加水分解後の反応液に二酸化炭素を導入して晶析を行いメチオニンを得る晶析工程と、
加熱炉により昇温させた炭化水素と水蒸気とを燃焼加熱による加熱下で水蒸気改質反応させて改質ガスを生成する水素製造装置により生成、回収される水素と二酸化炭素とを、前記ヒダントイン工程で用いる水素と、前記晶析工程で用いる二酸化炭素として供給する原料供給工程とを含み、
前記原料供給工程では、
前記ヒダントイン工程で用いる水素として、
前記水素製造装置で生成される前記改質ガスから分離して回収される水素を供給し、
前記晶析工程で用いる二酸化炭素として、
前記水素製造装置で生成される前記改質ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素を、主原料二酸化炭素として供給し、
炭化水素を昇温させる加熱炉における燃焼で発生する燃焼排ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素と、水蒸気改質反応での燃焼加熱における、酸化剤として深冷空気分離で得られた酸素を導入した燃焼で発生する燃焼排ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素とを、副原料二酸化炭素として供給することを特徴とするメチオニンの製造方法である。

Claims (3)
- 水素と硫黄とを反応させて得られる硫化水素を用い、5−(β−メチルメルカプトエチル)ヒダントインを得るヒダントイン工程と、
5−(β−メチルメルカプトエチル)ヒダントインを加水分解する加水分解工程と、
加水分解後の反応液に二酸化炭素を導入して晶析を行いメチオニンを得る晶析工程と、
加熱炉により昇温させた炭化水素と水蒸気とを燃焼加熱による加熱下で水蒸気改質反応させて改質ガスを生成する水素製造装置により生成、回収される水素と二酸化炭素とを、前記ヒダントイン工程で用いる水素と、前記晶析工程で用いる二酸化炭素として供給する原料供給工程とを含み、
前記原料供給工程では、
前記ヒダントイン工程で用いる水素として、
前記水素製造装置で生成される前記改質ガスから分離して回収される水素を供給し、
前記晶析工程で用いる二酸化炭素として、
前記水素製造装置で生成される前記改質ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素を、主原料二酸化炭素として供給し、
炭化水素を昇温させる加熱炉における燃焼で発生する燃焼排ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素と、水蒸気改質反応での燃焼加熱における、酸化剤として深冷空気分離で得られた酸素を導入した燃焼で発生する燃焼排ガスから分離して回収される二酸化炭素とを、副原料二酸化炭素として供給することを特徴とするメチオニンの製造方法。 - 前記水素製造装置における炭化水素を昇温させる加熱炉の燃焼は、酸化剤として深冷空気分離で得られた酸素を導入した燃焼であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメチオニンの製造方法。
- 前記水素製造装置では、水蒸気改質反応の改質ガスがもつ熱エネルギーを利用して、水蒸気改質反応に用いる水蒸気を発生させることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のメチオニンの製造方法。
