Abstract
Description
(A)48〜94.9質量%のポリプロピレン、
(B)5〜30質量%の、1〜50mmの平均長を有するガラス繊維、
(C)0.1〜2質量%の、オレイン酸アミドおよび/またはエルカ酸アミドである脂肪酸アミド、および
(D)0〜20質量%の他の添加剤、
を含むポリプロピレン組成物から作製された成形物品であって、PSA/ルノーD44 1900 EN1−RNPO 2001スクラッチテストにおけるdL<2の変色およびフォルクスワーゲンPV3952 2002スクラッチテストにおけるdL<1.5の変色を示す物品により、本発明にしたがって達成される。全成分AからDの合計は100%である。
60質量%のガラス繊維を含むLGF PP(SABIC(登録商標)STAMAX 60YM240−00900;ペレット長 12.5mm;ワイヤ被覆プロセスにより製造した)、エチレン含有量が60質量%のエチレン−プロピレン系コポリマーを25質量%含有する安定化プロピレンインパクトコポリマー(「SABIC」PP CX03−82;MFI 10)、0.1質量%のステアリン酸カルシウムおよび2質量%のダークグレーのマスターバッチ(LDPE−系、約50質量%の着色剤)を含有し、約10質量%のガラス含有量としたペレットの混合物を製造した。この混合物を、一般に鉱物充填PPコンパウンドに使用される3ゾーンスクリューを備えた標準的な装置を用いて、240℃の温度設定で、標準的なテストサンプルに射出成形した。その結果が表1に要約されている。サンプルは、PSA/ルノーテスト(変色dL<2;グレースケール評価≧3)の要件を満たすが、フォルクスワーゲン耐引掻性テストとフォード耐引掻性テストは満たしていない。
組成物が0.2質量%のオレイン酸アミドをさらに含有したことを除いて、比較実験Aを繰り返した。重ねて、剛性と衝撃特性の良好なバランス、並びに低い収縮値(異なる方向において同様である)が観察される。その上、この材料により、フォルクスワーゲン・スクラッチテストとフォード・スクラッチテストにおける評価がプラスである。
表1において、2種類の市販の鉱物充填ポリプロピレン組成物についてのデータが示されている:
比較実験Bは、約15質量%のタルクを含有する材料「SABIC」PPコンパウンド7715である。
組成物が0.2質量%のエチレン(ビス)ステアリン酸アミド(EBS)をさらに含有したことを除いて、比較実験Aを繰り返した。成形物品は、フォルクスワーゲンおよびフォードのスクラッチテストの要件を満たさなかった。
Claims (13)
- (A)48〜94.9質量%のポリプロピレン、
(B)5〜30質量%の、1〜50mmの平均長を有するガラス繊維、
(C)0.1〜2質量%のオレイン酸アミドおよび/またはエルカ酸アミド、および
(D)0〜20質量%の他の添加剤、
を含むポリプロピレン組成物から作製された成形物品であって、
PSA/ルノーD44 1900 EN1−RNPO 2001スクラッチテストにおけるdL<2の変色およびフォルクスワーゲンPV3952 2002スクラッチテストにおけるdL<1.5の変色を示す物品。 - 前記PSA/ルノー・スクラッチテストにおける変色がdL<0.85であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の物品。
- 前記フォルクスワーゲン・スクラッチテストにおける変色がdL<1.1であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の物品。
- フォードBN108−13 2001スクラッチテストにおいて、2Nの力で目に見えない引掻き傷および3Nの力で引掻き傷の30%より長い長さに亘り目に見えない引掻き傷をさらに示すことを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物中の前記ポリプロピレンがプロピレンインパクトコポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物中の前記インパクトコポリマーが、10〜35質量%の、エチレンおよび少なくとも1種類の他のオレフィンの分散したコポリマーを含有することを特徴とする請求項5記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物中の前記分散したコポリマーが、エチレン含有量が50〜75質量%のエチレン−プロピレン系コポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項6記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物が、4〜15mmの平均長のガラス繊維を含有することを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物が5〜20質量%のガラス繊維を含有することを特徴とする請求項1から8いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記ポリプロピレン組成物が0.1〜0.5質量%のオレイン酸アミドおよび/またはエルカ酸アミドを含有することを特徴とする請求項1から9いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 射出成形プロセスにより製造された(半)完成物品であることを特徴とする請求項1から10いずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記ガラス繊維の平均長が1および5mmの間であることを特徴とする請求項11記載の物品。
- 自動車の内装用途に使用される請求項1から12いずれか1項記載の物品。
