Claims (6)
- 燃焼機関のシリンダにおける副室ユニットであり、副室及び該副室に接続される細長いノズル室を有し、該副室を該シリンダの主燃焼空間に接続するために該ノズル室の一端に多数の開口群を備える副室ユニットであって、
前記ノズル室は、少なくとも前記開口群の位置で拡大される部分であり、前記ノズル室の横断方向におけるその径が前記開口群と前記副室との間にある部分の径よりも大きい部分を含む、
ことを特徴とする副室ユニット。 - 前記ノズル室における前記拡大された部分の最も広い場所の径は、前記開口群と前記副室との間にある部分の径の1.25〜1.65倍だけ大きい、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の副室ユニット。 - 前記ノズル室における前記拡大された部分は、前記開口群に向かって滑らかに膨張するように配置される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の副室ユニット。 - 前記ノズル室における前記拡大された部分は、前記開口群から前記副室に向かって収束する錐台を含むように形成され、且つ、
前記錐台の錐角は、15度より小さく、好適には、約10度である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の副室ユニット。 - 前記開口群の縁群は、前記ノズル室の側で丸められる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の副室ユニット。 - 前記拡大される部分は、前記ノズル室の全長の50%以上を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の副室ユニット。
