Abstract
Description
−空気用の供給手段を第1の吸入弁に接続させるように、および第1の燃料用の供給手段を第2の吸入弁に接続させるように、エンジンを構成することと、
−運転中に、燃焼室の内側においてのみ第1の燃料と空気(または酸素)(または空気、または酸素)との混合を生じさせるように、エンジンを構成することと、
を含んでいることを特徴とする方法が、開示されている。
Claims (15)
- 燃焼室の境界を定める目的で往復運動可能なピストンを内部に有している少なくとも1つのシリンダと、前記燃焼室内に開いている空気用の供給手段と、前記燃焼室内に開いている燃料用の供給手段と、前記燃焼室に接続された燃焼ガス用の排出手段と、点火機構と、が設けられているエンジンブロックを備えている4ストローク式内燃機関であって、少なくとも2つの吸入弁および少なくとも1つの排出弁が、シリンダごとに配置されている、内燃機関において、前記空気用の供給手段が、1つの吸入弁、すなわち、前記空気吸入弁に接続されており、前記第1の燃料用の供給手段が、他の吸入弁、すなわち、前記燃料吸入弁に接続されており、運転中に、前記燃焼室の内側においてのみ第1の燃料と空気との混合を生じさせるように、構成されていることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記点火機構は、スパークプラグを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記空気吸入弁および前記燃料吸入弁は、個別に制御されるようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記少なくとも吸入弁は、カムシャフトに連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1の燃料用の供給手段は、前記燃料吸入弁によって閉鎖可能な少なくとも1つの燃料区域を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記燃料区域は、気化器システムまたは噴射装置に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の内燃機関。
- 第2の燃料用の供給手段が、さらに設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第2の燃料用の供給手段は、前記空気用の供給手段に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第2の燃料用の供給手段は、前記燃焼室内に、この第2の燃料を直接噴射する手段を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項7または8に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記空気用の供給手段は、少なくとも1つの空気用噴射装置を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1の燃料は、実質的にガス状であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1の燃料は、水素ガスを含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1の燃料は、天然ガス(CH4)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項11または12に記載の内燃機関。
- 燃焼室の境界を定める目的で往復運動可能なピストンを内部に有している少なくとも1つのシリンダと、前記燃焼室内に開いている空気用の供給手段と、前記燃焼室内に開いている燃料用の供給手段と、前記燃焼室に接続された燃焼ガス用の排出手段と、点火機構と、が設けられているエンジンブロックを備えている4ストロークエンジンを改造する方法であって、少なくとも2つの吸入弁および少なくとも1つの排出弁が、シリンダごとに配置されている、方法において、
−前記空気用の供給手段を前記第1の吸入弁に接続させるとともに、前記第1の燃料用の供給手段を前記第2の吸入弁に接続させるように、前記エンジンを構成することと、
−運転中に、前記燃焼室の外側において前記第1の燃料と前記空気との混合を生じさせないように、前記エンジンを構成することと、
を含んでいることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の燃料および前記空気の混合を生じさせないようにすることは、少なくとも前記吸入弁と前記カムシャフトとの連結を再構成することによって、達成されるようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の方法。
