Description
本発明は、抗菌性エアフィルタ、それを作製及び使用する方法に関する。
人類は、細菌、カビ、酵母、ウイルスのような微生物、及び生活環境中の他の感染性因子により、しばしば感染される。研究は、種々の天然及び無機物質、とりわけ茶抽出物、キトサン、銀、銅、亜鉛などを含む抗菌性材料についての探索にこれまで集中してきた。銀は抗菌活性を有することが知られている。銀は650株を超える細菌に対して有効となり得る。銀の抗細菌活性は、銀カチオン(Ag+)に依存しており、それは、硫黄、酸素又は窒素を含む生体分子の電子供与基に強く結合する。銀イオンは、Ca2+又はZn+などの他の必須金属イオンを置換することにより作用する。重金属はタンパク質と反応して、それがタンパク質の不活性化をもたらすと一般に信じられている。重金属は、酵素の−SH基と連結することによりタンパク質と反応し、それがタンパク質の不活性化をもたらすと一般に信じられている。
本文書全体を通して、特に断らない限り、「を含む」、「からなる」等の用語は非排他的、すなわち換言すれば、「を含むがそれに限定されない」と解釈されるべきである。
現在市場に出ている大部分の脱臭剤は、臭気を抑えるために隠蔽作用を使用している。これらの「マスキング剤」も脱臭剤と呼ばれるが、マスキング剤は、多量の香料を含み、不快な臭いの上に心地よい匂いを重畳する試みにすぎない。
この実施形態も、シラン四級アンモニウムポリマー溶液と空気清涼剤(28)との間の相互作用を組み込んでいる。精油が空気清涼剤中で使用される。
Claims (12)
- 多孔質材料を銀ナノ粒子コロイド中に浸漬するステップ、及び
銀ナノ粒子の損失が減少するように、銀ナノ粒子を包埋した多孔質材料をシラン四級アンモニウムポリマーでコーティングするステップ
を含む、フィルタとして使用するための抗菌性基材を調製する方法。 - 多孔質材料の表面を作用因子でエッチングするステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記作用因子は、塩酸又は硝酸又は硫酸又はオゾン又はUVを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 多孔質材料をアセトン又はアルコールで洗浄する前処理ステップをさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 抗菌性基材を乾燥するステップをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 半多孔質の芯をシラン四級アンモニウムポリマー中に入れるステップをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 銀ナノ粒子を包埋し、シラン四級アンモニウムポリマー被膜を有する多孔質材料を含む、フィルタとして使用するための抗菌性基材。
- 多孔質材料が、金属発泡体又はポリウレタン又はポリエステル又は不織紙を含む、請求項7に記載の抗菌性基材。
- シラン四級アンモニウムポリマー被膜が、1,3,ジデシル−2−メチル−イミダゾリンクロリド及びジメチル,メチル(ポリエチレンオキシド)シロキサンを含む、請求項7又は8に記載の抗菌性基材。
- 銀ナノ粒子を包埋し、シラン四級アンモニウムポリマー被膜を有する多孔質材料を含む、抗菌性フィルタを備える空気処理装置。
- 臭気除去手段及び又は清涼剤又は芳香剤カートリッジをさらに備える、請求項10に記載の空気処理装置。
- 清涼剤又は芳香剤カートリッジが半多孔質の芯を通してフィルタに接続されている、請求項11に記載の空気処理装置。
