Claims (12)

  1. エイコサペンタエン酸を生産するための組換えヤロウィア属生産宿主細胞であって、
    a)配列番号5、7、9、11、13、15および17からなる群から選択されるアミノ酸配列を有するΔ9エロンガーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子、および
    b)配列番号19、21、23、25、27、29、31および33からなる群から選択されるアミノ酸配列を有するΔ8デサチュラーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子を含み、ここで上記ヤロウィア属生産宿主細胞は、該生産宿主細胞における総脂肪酸の質量パーセントとして測定された少なくとも約43.3質量パーセントのエイコサペンタエン酸を生産する、組換えヤロウィア属生産宿主細胞。
  2. Δ9エロンガーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子が少なくとも5つのコピー内に存在するか、または
    Δ8デサチュラーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子が少なくとも5つのコピー内に存在するか、または
    Δ9エロンガーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子が少なくとも5つのコピー内に存在し、そしてΔ8デサチュラーゼをコードする少なくとも1つの遺伝子が少なくとも5つのコピー内に存在する、請求項1に記載の組換えヤロウィア属エスピー生産宿主細胞。
  3. エイコサペンタエン酸を含む微生物オイルを生産するための方法であって、
    a)エイコサペンタエン酸を含む微生物オイルを生産させる、請求項1に記載の生産宿主を培養するステップ;および
    b)場合により、ステップ(a)の微生物オイルを回収するステップ
    を含む、上記方法。
  4. 下記の1つを含む微生物オイル:
    a)総脂肪酸の質量パーセントとして少なくとも約25質量パーセントのエイコサペンタエン酸;
    b)総脂肪酸の質量パーセントとして少なくとも約30質量パーセントのエイコサペンタエン酸および約25質量パーセント未満のリノール酸;または
    c)総脂肪酸の質量パーセントとして、少なくとも約43.3質量パーセントのエイコサペンタエン酸、および、約23.6質量パーセント未満のリノール酸(18:2)、および、約9.4質量パーセント未満のオレイン酸(18:1)。
  5. 請求項4のc)に記載の微生物オイルであって、オイルがさらに濃縮され、および/または、リノール酸、γ−リノレン酸、エイコサジエン酸、ジホモ−γ−−リノール酸、アラキドン酸、ドコサテトラエン酸、ω−6ドコサペンタエン酸、α−リノレン酸、ステアリドン酸、エイコサトリエン酸、エイコサテトラエン酸、ω−3ドコサペンタエン酸およびドコサヘキサエン酸からなる群から選択される追加量の脂肪酸と混合される、上記オイル。
  6. 請求項4のc)に記載のオイルまたはその誘導体を含む食品であって、ここで食品は好ましくは食品類似体、機能性食品、医療用食品および医療用栄養剤からなる群から選択される、上記食品。
  7. 請求項4のc)に記載のオイルまたはその誘導体を含む薬剤組成物、調製粉乳、栄養補助食品、または動物飼料。
  8. 請求項4のc)に記載のオイルを含む微生物バイオマス。
  9. 請求項8に記載の微生物バイオマスを含む動物飼料であって、動物飼料は好ましくは養殖飼料である、上記動物飼料。
  10. 請求項4のc)に記載のオイルまたはその誘導体を含有するパーソナルケア製品であって、パーソナルケア製品は好ましくはスキンコンディショナーである、上記パーソナルケア製品。
  11. エイコサペンタエン酸に富むヒト、動物または養殖生物用の栄養補助食品を提供するための方法であって、ヒト、動物または養殖生物によって摂取または使用可能な形態でエイコサペンタエン酸を含有する請求項4のc)に記載の微生物オイルを備えるステップを含む、方法。
  12. ヒトまたは動物における臨床状態を処置するための方法であって、該臨床状態が処置されるヒトまたは動物に摂取可能な形態で請求項4のc)に記載のオイルを与えるステップを含む、方法。
