Abstract
【解決手段】セクタmは、隣接するセクタ内の端末から観測される干渉を推定し、OTA(over-the-air)OSI(other-sector interference)レポート及び/又はIS(inter-sector)OSIレポートを生成し、隣接するセクタ内の端末にOTA OSIレポートを放送し、端末は、該OTA OSIレポートに基づいて、その送信電力を調節する。セクタmは、セクタmに対する端末の進入を制御し、進入した端末の割当てを解除し、隣接するセクタに対する干渉を低減するように、セクタm内の端末をスケジューリングし、及び/又はセクタm内の端末に、該隣接するセクタに対して、より小さい干渉を引き起こすトラヒックチャネルを割当てることができる。

Description
Rm,u(k,n)は、端末uからセクタmにより得られた受信シンボルであり、及び
Im(k,n)は、セクタmによって観測される干渉の推定値である。
gns,i(n)は、端末uと隣接するセクタとの間のチャネル利得であり、
gss(n)は、端末uとサービングセクタとの間のチャネル利得であり、
ri(n)は、隣接するセクタiの場合のチャネル利得比である。

Pdch(n)は、更新間隔nの場合のトラヒックチャネルのための送信電力であり、
Pref(n)は、更新間隔nの場合の基準電力であり、及び
ΔP(n)は、更新間隔nの場合の送信電力差分である。
送信電力差分ΔP(n)は、隣接するセクタからのOTA OSIレポートに基づいて、決定論的方法、確率論的方法又は他の方法で調節することができる。送信電力は、(1)決定論的調節を用いた、異なる干渉レベルに対する異なる量により、又は(2)確率論的調節を用いた、異なる干渉レベルに対する異なるレートで、調節することができる。以下、例示的な決定論的及び確率論的送信電力調節について説明する。単純化するため、以下の説明は、1つの隣接するセクタから受信したOSIビットの場合の送信電力調節に対するものとする。このOSIビットは、OSIビット1又は2とすることができる。
ただし、
ΔPminは、トラヒックチャネルに対して許容可能な最小送信電力差分であり、
ΔPmaxは、該トラヒックチャネルに対して許容可能な最大送信電力差分である。
kdn及びkupは、それぞれ、ΔPdn(n)及びΔPup(n)に対する倍率であり、
fdn()及びfup()はそれぞれ、ΔPdn(n)及びΔPup(n)を計算するための関数である。
Prdn,min及びPrup,minは、それぞれ、Prdn(n)及びPrup(n)に対する最小値であり、
f’dn()及びf’up()は、それぞれ、Prdn(n)及びPrup(n)を計算するための関数である。
Claims (41)
- 少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタから少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを受信するよう機能する受信機ユニットであって、各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートが、他のセクタ内の端末からの送信による、前記隣接するセクタによって観測される干渉の量を示す、前記受信機ユニットと、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調整するよう機能するコントローラと、を備える装置。 - 前記各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートは、前記隣接するセクタが、所定のしきい値よりも大きな過剰な干渉を観測したか否かを示す、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタに対する端末の進入を制御するよう機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、ユーザ優先度クラス、サービス品質(QoS)クラス、又はこれらの組合せに基づいて、前記セクタに対する端末の進入を制御するよう機能する、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタのうちのいずれか1つが、過剰な干渉を観測した場合に、前記セクタへのアクセスを拒否し、又は、前記セクタに対するアクセスが既に許可されている端末の割当てを解除するように機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタのローディングを制御するよう機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、データ送信のために前記セクタ内の端末をスケジュールするよう機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタのいずれか1つが、過剰な干渉を観測した場合に、前記セクタ内の端末のうちの少なくとも1つに対するデータレートを低下させるよう機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタ内の端末にトラヒックチャネルを割当てるよう機能する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを、前記セクタ内の端末へ放送するよう機能する送信機ユニットをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタから少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを受信する手段であって、各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートが、他のセクタ内の端末からの送信による、前記隣接するセクタによって観測される干渉の量を示す前記手段と、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調節する手段と、を備える装置。 - 前記セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調節する手段は、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタに対する端末の進入を制御する手段を備える、請求項11に記載の装置。 - 前記セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調節する手段は、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、データ送信のために前記セクタ内の端末をスケジューリングする手段を備える、請求項11に記載の装置。 - 前記セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調節する手段は、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタ内の端末にトラヒックチャネルを割当てる手段を備える、請求項11に記載の装置。 - 通信システムにおける干渉を制御する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタから少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを受信することであって、各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートが、他のセクタ内の端末からの送信による、前記隣接するセクタによって観測される干渉の量を示すことと、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調整することと、を備える方法。 - 前記セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調整することは、
前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタへの端末の進入を制御することを備える、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記セクタ内の端末のためのデータ送信を調整することは、

前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからの前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、前記セクタ内の端末にトラヒックチャネルを割当てることを備える、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 隣接するセクタ内の端末からの送信による、セクタによって観測される干渉を推定し、干渉推定値を提供するよう機能するプロセッサと、
前記干渉推定値に基づいて、干渉レポートを生成するよう機能するコントローラであって、前記干渉レポートが、前記セクタによって観測される干渉の複数の可能性のあるレベルのうちの1つを示す、前記コントローラと、を備える装置。 - 前記干渉レポートは、少なくとも2つのしきい値に関連して、前記セクタによって観測される干渉を伝える、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記干渉レポートは、前記セクタによって観測された干渉が、第1のしきい値以下であるか、前記第1のしきい値と第2のしきい値との間であるか、又は、前記第2のしきい値を超えているか否かを示す、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記隣接するセクタ内の端末に前記干渉レポートを放送するよう機能する送信機ユニットをさらに備える、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記干渉推定値に基づいて、第2の干渉レポートを生成するよう機能し、前記第2の干渉レポートは、前記干渉レポートよりも詳しい、前記セクタによって観測された干渉のための情報を備える、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記第2の干渉レポートを、前記隣接するセクタのうちの少なくとも1つへ送るよう機能する、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記干渉推定値が所定のしきい値以上である場合、又は、前記隣接するセクタのうちの少なくとも1つが、前記第2の干渉レポートを必要とする場合に、前記第2の干渉レポートを生成するよう機能する、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタから少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを受信するよう機能する通信ユニットであって、各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートが、前記隣接するセクタによって観測された複数の可能性のあるレベルの干渉のうちの1つを示す前記通信ユニットと、
前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、送信電力を調節するよう機能するコントローラと、を備える装置。 - 前記各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートは、前記隣接するセクタが、所定のしきい値よりも大きな過剰な干渉を観測したか否かを示す、請求項26に記載の装置。

- 前記コントローラは、ユーザ優先度クラス又はサービス品質(QoS)クラスに基づいて、送信電力に対する調節の量を判断するよう、及び前記所定のレートで送信電力を調節するよう機能する、請求項26に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタの中から、最強の隣接するセクタを識別するよう、及び前記最強の隣接するセクタから受信した干渉レポートに基づいて、送信電力を調節するよう機能する、請求項26に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、前記少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタからこれまでに受信した干渉レポートに基づいて、送信電力を調節するよう機能する、請求項26に記載の装置。

- 少なくとも1つの隣接するセクタから少なくとも1つの干渉レポートを受信する手段であって、各隣接するセクタのための干渉レポートが、前記隣接するセクタによって観測された複数の可能性のあるレベルの干渉のうちの1つを示す前記手段と、
前記少なくとも1つの干渉レポートに基づいて、送信電力を調節する手段と、を備える装置。 - 前記送信電力を調節する手段は、
