【解決手段】複数の副画素グループが反復的に配列される有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造において、前記副画素グループは、第i(iは自然数)及び第i+2列に形成され、第1色の光を放出する二つの第1副画素と、前記第i及び第i+2列で前記第1副画素と互いに異なる行に形成され、第2色の光を放出する二つの第2副画素と、第i+1及び第i+3列に形成され、前記第1副画素及び第2副画素と隣接されるように二つの行に形成される二つの第3副画素とを備える。

Claims (14)
- 複数の副画素グループが反復的に配列される有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造において、
前記副画素グループは、
第i(iは自然数)及び第i+2列に形成され、第1色の光を放出する二つの第1副画素と、
前記第i及び第i+2列で前記第1副画素と互いに異なる行に形成され、第2色の光を放出する二つの第2副画素と、
第i+1及び第i+3列に形成され、前記第1副画素及び第2副画素と隣接されるように二つの行に形成される二つの第3副画素とを備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。 - 前記第3副画素は、前記第1副画素より2倍以上の高さを有するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、前記第1副画素より広い面積で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、赤色副画素、緑色副画素、及び青色副画素のうち、最も短い寿命を有する副画素で設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、青色副画素で設定され、第1副画素及び第2副画素はそれぞれ赤色副画素及び緑色副画素で設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第1副画素及び第2副画素は、同一の行ラインに互いに交番的に配列されるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第1副画素及び第2副画素それぞれは、同一の行ラインに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 第i(iは1、3、5、7、...)列に形成され、第1色の光を放出する第1副画素と、
前記第i列で前記第1副画素と行ごとに交番的に形成され、第2色の光を放出する第2副画素と、
第j(jは2、4、6、...)列、及び第j+2列で四つの行ラインに形成され、第3色の光を放出する第3副画素とを備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。 - 前記第j列に形成された第3副画素と、前記第j+2列に形成された第3副画素は、形成位置が二つの行ラインで重畳されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、前記第1副画素より広い面積で形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、赤色副画素、緑色副画素及び青色副画素のうち最も短い寿命を有する副画素で設定されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第3副画素は、青色副画素で設定され、第1副画素及び第2副画素はそれぞれ赤色副画素及び緑色副画素で設定されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第1副画素及び第2副画素は、同一の行ラインで互いに交番的に配列されるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
- 前記第1副画素及び第2副画素それぞれは、同一の行ラインに形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の画素配列構造。
