筒状のベアステント(16)と、前記ベアステントの外周を覆う被覆フィルム(50)と、を含むカバードステントであって、前記ベアステントは、当該ベアステントの両端部の間に、筒状の本体の一部が外径方向へと突出する突起部(16a)を備え、前記突起部により構成されるとともに、当該カバードステントの外周表面から外径方向に突出する凸形状(34)を少なくとも1つ含む外形状を有することを特徴とするカバードステント。

前記ベアステントは、当該ベアステントの両端部の間に、筒状の本体の一部が外径方向へと突出する突起部を備え、
前記突起部により構成されるとともに、当該カバードステントの外周表面から外径方向に突出する凸形状を少なくとも1つ含む外形状を有することを特徴とする。
上述の実施形態に係るカバードステント10においては、ベアステント突出部が凸形状部を形成していたが、ステント外周表面12に凸形状部34等を形成するための構造としては、図2に示すものには限定されない。たとえば、図2に示すフレーム17の頂点部17aを、外径方向に向かって折り曲げることによって、凸形状部34を形成してもよい。また、被覆フィルム部50の一部に突起を設けることによって、凸形状部34を形成してもよい。カバードステント10の外形状に含まれる凸形状部34は、ベアステント16の径方向に突出する形状であれば特に限定されず、半リング状であったり、周方向に断続的に形成される形状であっても良い。

- 筒状のベアステントと、
前記ベアステントの外周を覆う被覆フィルムと、を備えるカバードステントであって、
前記ベアステントは、当該ベアステントの両端部の間に、筒状の本体の一部が外径方向へと突出する突起部を備え、
前記突起部により構成されるとともに、当該カバードステントの外周表面から外径方向に突出する凸形状を少なくとも1つ含む外形状を有することを特徴とするカバードステント。 - 前記突起部は、前記本体に2つ形成されており、
これらの2つの突起部は、前記本体の中央位置を基準として、前記中央位置から前記両端部側に向かって均等距離離れた位置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカバードステント。 - 前記ベアステントは、前記両端部の少なくとも一方の端部に設けられるフレア部をさらに含み、
前記フレア部は、前記本体側から前記フレア部の末端側に向かうにつれて外径が大きくなるテーパ状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のカバードステント。 - 前記突起部は、前記ベアステントの周方向に沿って連続するリング形状であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかに記載のカバードステント。
- 前記被覆フィルムは、前記ベアステントの内径方向を向く内側表面を含む内周層と、前記ベアステントの外径方向を向く外側表面を含み当該外側表面に開口する複数の空孔が当該外側表面に沿って規則的に配列されている外周層とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれかに記載のカバードステント。
- 胆管ステントである請求項1から請求項5までのいずれかに記載のカバードステント。
