Description
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、フィルタ層内に形成される複数の孔を有する。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、孔は、フィルタ層に塩を添加し、該フィルタ層を管状体の上に配置した後、塩を溶解することによって形成される。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、管状体は、ステントを含む。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、ステントは、等方性に屈曲する性質を備える。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、熱可塑性のポリウレタン形状記憶ポリマーを含む。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールをベースとする、ポリ(乳酸‐co‐グリコール酸)ブロック共重合体(poly(lactic‐co‐glicolic acid)block)を含有するポリウレタンを含む。
医療装置の別例は、外表面を有するステントと、ステントの該外表面に沿って配置された電界紡糸繊維フィルタ層とを備える。該電界紡糸繊維フィルタ層は、フィルタ内に形成された複数の孔を有する形状記憶材料よりなり、該孔は、孔を通って液体を通過させるが、組織の内方成長に対しては抵抗性を示す。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、孔は、電界紡糸繊維フィルタ層に塩を添加し、該電界紡糸繊維フィルタ層をステント上に配置した後、塩を溶解することにより形成される。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、熱可塑性のポリウレタン形状記憶ポリマーを含む。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールをベースとするポリウレタンを含む。
医療装置を製造するための方法の例が開示される。該方法は、ステント上にフィルタ層を形成する為に、該ステント上に形状記憶ポリマー繊維を電界紡糸することよりなる。フィルタ層はフィルタ層内に形成された複数の孔を有し、該孔は、孔を通って液体を通過させるが、組織の内方成長に対しては抵抗性を示す。
前記実施形態のいずれか1つでは、フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールを含む。
本発明は、様々な変化形、及び代替形が可能であるが、それらのうちの特別なものが、例示することを目的として、図面に示され、詳細に説明されている。しかしながら、これらは、本発明を、説明される特定の実施形態に限定することを意図していない。むしろ、本発明は、本発明の精神、及び範囲に入るすべての変更物、均等物、及び代替物を包含することを意図するものである。

本明細書及び添付の請求項で用いられるように、単数形の「a」、「an」、及び「the」は、内容が別の意味を明確に指示しない限り複数の指示対象を含む。また、本明細書及び添付の請求項で用いられるように、内容が別の意味を明確に指示しない限り「or」の語は、一般的に「and/or」を含む意味で用いられる。
いくつかの例では、フィルタ部材828は、長手方向に沿って、繊維、及び/又は材料の異なる層の組み合わせであってもよい。これにより、フィルタ部材828は、特定の患者や、生体構造の特定の標的等、必要に応じて調整することが可能となる。加えて、細胞の内方成長や液体の移動等の程度は、フィルタ部材828を変更することによって調整することが可能である。
本明細書では、参照により、米国特許第7,091,297号明細書を援用する。
本開示は、多くの点において、例示に過ぎないことに留意されたい。詳細、特に形状、サイズ、又はステップの配置に関しては、本発明の範囲を逸脱しないで変更することが可能である。これには、適切な程度において、他の実施形態で使用される1の例の実施形態のいかなる特徴をも使用することが含まれうる。言うまでもないが、本発明の範囲は、以下に添付される請求項で説明される文言において定義されるものとする。
Claims (13)
- 複数の開口部を有する管状体と、
該管状体の外表面に沿って配置されたフィルタ層とを備える胆道系、及び膵管系のうちの少なくとも一方に沿って使用される埋込み型医療装置であって、
前記フィルタ層が、形状記憶材料よりなることと、
前記フィルタ層は、繊維からなる複数の層を含み、フィルタ層を通って液体を通過させるが組織の内方成長に対しては抵抗性を示すことと、
前記繊維からなる複数の層が、異なる密度を有することと、
前記繊維からなる複数の層が、組織の内方成長に対して低い抵抗性を有する径方向におけるより外側の低密度の層と、組織の内方成長に対して高い抵抗性を有する径方向におけるより内側の高密度の層とを備えることと、からなる埋込み型医療装置。 - 前記フィルタ層は、該フィルタ層内に形成された複数の孔を有する請求項1に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記孔の少なくとも一部は、直径が75ミクロン以下、又は50ミクロン以下、又は1乃至50ミクロンである請求項2に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、生分解性材料を含む請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記管状体は、ステントを含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記ステントは、等方性に屈曲する性質を備える請求項5に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、ステント上に配置される電界紡糸層である請求項5または6に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、熱可塑性のポリウレタン形状記憶ポリマーよりなる請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールを含む請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールをベースとして、ポリ(乳酸‐co‐グリコール酸)ブロック共重合体を含有するポリウレタンよりなる請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- 前記フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールをベースとして、ポリカプロラクトンブロックを含有するポリウレタンよりなる請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の埋込み型医療装置。
- ステント上にフィルタ層を形成する為に、該ステント上に形状記憶ポリマー繊維を電界紡糸することを含む医療装置を製造する方法であって、
前記フィルタ層は、繊維からなる複数の層を含み、フィルタ層を貫通して液体を通過させるが組織が内方成長することに対しては抵抗を示すことと、
前記繊維からなる複数の層が、異なる密度を有することと、
前記繊維からなる複数の層が、組織の内方成長に対して低い抵抗性を有する径方向におけるより外側の低密度の層と、組織の内方成長に対して高い抵抗性を有する径方向におけるより内側の高密度の層とを備えること、とからなる方法。 - 該フィルタ層は、かご型シルセスキオキサンジオールを含む請求項12に記載の方法。
