Abstract
【解決手段】アンモニア濃度検出センサ100は、被測定ガスのアンモニア濃度を検出可能なセンサ素子110と、被測定ガスのセンサ素子110への流入を規制すると共にセンサ素子110を保護する保護カバー120とを備えている。この保護カバー120は、コーティング層によって被覆されている。

Description
保護カバー120のコーティング層が形成されていない点を除き上述したアンモニア濃度検出センサ100と同じ構造のセンサを比較例1とした。また、この比較例1のセンサの保護カバー120に各種コーティング材を用いてCVDでコーティング層を形成したものを実施例1〜8とした。保護カバー120の母材、コーティング材及びコーティング材の耐熱温度(示差熱天秤(TG−DTA)による)は、表1に示したとおりである。なお、コーティング材のうちDLCは親水性だが、そのほかは疎水性である。
Claims (4)
- 被測定ガスのアンモニア濃度を検出可能なセンサ素子と、前記被測定ガスの前記センサ素子への流入を規制すると共に前記センサ素子を保護する保護カバーとを備えたアンモニア濃度検出センサであって、
前記保護カバーは、コーティング層によって被覆されている、
アンモニア濃度検出センサ。 - 前記保護カバーは、ステンレス鋼製であり、
前記コーティング層は、金属元素の窒化物、炭化物又は炭窒化物であり、該金属元素として少なくともTi,Zr及びCrからなる群より選ばれた1つを含む、
請求項1に記載のアンモニア濃度検出センサ。 - 前記コーティング層は、耐熱温度が400℃以上である、
請求項1又は2に記載のアンモニア濃度検出センサ。 - 窒素酸化物が発生する排気システムにおいて排気中の窒素酸化物をアンモニアを使用して浄化する触媒の前後両方又はいずれか一方に配置される、
請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のアンモニア濃度検出センサ。
