Description
プラスチックバッグは一般的に、切断されたプラスチックシートから作られる。多くの場合、レーザはプラスチックシートを切断してそれらを一緒に溶接するために利用される。具体的には、プラスチック材料を溶接して切断するために、炭酸ガスレーザが概ね広く利用されている。この構成(10.6μm)において生成されるレーザエネルギの急速な吸収は、この応用分野に対してこれを効率的なシステムにする。焦点とレーザの停止時間を変化させることにより、熱可塑性材料を切断し、マークを付け、あるいは溶接することが可能であることが知られている。
1)切断や溶接作業中にフィルムが移動できないように、フィルムを固定するための真空を付与するために、プラテン103の貫通穴が使用される。
4)プラテン103は、2つのシート状のフィルム101,102の間に空気溜まりができるのを防ぐ。プラテン103は、切断作業中に生成される蒸発したプラスチック蒸気(fume)が吹き流されるように、各切断輪郭409の下に溝409を有している。支持プラテンの上側板405は高密度ポリプロピレンのような、熱可塑性プラスチックから作られている。この材料は、プラスチックフィルムの切断や溶接のために使用されるのと同じレーザ105によって切断され穴あけされることができる。このように、特別のプラテンを何れかの寸法のバッグのために迅速に作ることができる。固定具は不要である。プラテン103と製造されるべきバッグの相対的な大きさに応じて、単一のプラテンで複数のバッグを作ることができる。
Claims (35)
- プラスチック容器を形成する方法であって、
切断輪郭と、上面のこの切断輪郭の溝とこの溝に接続された複数の排気ポートとを有する支持プラテンであって、複数の離れた貫通穴が支持プラテンの上面にあり、溝が切断輪郭を画成するように構成された支持プラテンを設け、
第1フィルムを支持プラテンの上面に配置し、
支持プラテンの上面の切断輪郭に沿って第1フィルムを切断するためにレーザを照射し、
第1フィルムの上に第2フィルムを配置し、
第1フィルムを支持プラテンに固定するために複数の排気ポートと複数の離れた貫通穴を真空源に接続し、
第1フィルムと第2フィルムとを溶接するために、溶接の間レーザからのビームと同軸に、継ぎ目において第2フィルムが第1フィルムに接触するのを維持するようにガス噴流を第2フィルムの溝の位置に向け、
継ぎ目輪郭に沿って第1フィルムと第2フィルムを溶接すためにレーザと支持プラテンとを相互に移動させ、
仕上げられたバッグを提供するために、切断輪郭に沿って第1フィルムと第2フィルムを切断するためにレーザを照射する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 容器の切断輪郭を形成するために、第1フィルムと第2フィルムとを切断するために、レーザと支持プラテンとを相互に移動させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

溝と複数の排気ポートを有する輪郭を支持プラテンに形成し、
支持プラテンの内側部分に複数の第1穴を設け、
第1フィルムを固定するように複数の第1穴が構成された支持プラテン上に第1フィルムを配置し、
支持プラテン上の輪郭に沿って第1フィルムを切断するためにレーザを照射し、第1フィルムの外側部分はレーザによって蒸発させられるように構成され、溝と複数の排気ポートに向かって吸引され、
第1フィルムの余剰部を取り除き、
第1フィルムの上に第2フィルムを配置し、
継ぎ目へのレーザを通して向けられている高速空気と同軸の溝へのレーザの焦点をぼかし、

コントローラは継ぎ目輪郭に沿ってレーザを動かすように構成され、レーザは溶接領域の継ぎ目輪郭で溶接部を形成するように構成され、高速ガスは溶接領域を冷却するように構成されている、システム。 - 支持プラテンは中間板によって支持されている、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記中間板は、少なくとも1つの真空源に接続された真空開口を有する箱に置かれるように構成されている、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、0.1から0.3インチの範囲のスポット直径にレーザの焦点をぼかすように構成されている、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、Z軸に沿ってレーザ焦点レンズを上下に動かすように構成されている、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記レーザは、連続した継ぎ目を生成するために、レーザが溶接部を形成しているときに制御された速度割合で動くように構成されている、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 高速ガスは、支持プラテンに対して第2フィルムに向けて、第2フィルムを押すように構成されている、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 高速ガスはヘリウムである、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 高速ガスは窒素である、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 第1フィルムと第2フィルムは熱可塑性フィルムである、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 熱可塑性フィルムはポリエチレンおよびニフッ化ポリビニリデンからなる群から選択される、請求項31に記載のシステム。
- 第1フィルムと第2フィルムは、長方形、多角形、四面体、八角形、正方形および他の形状からなる群から選択される形状を有する、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 第1フィルムと第2フィルムは、3から40ミルの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 第1フィルムと第2フィルムは、12ミルの厚さを有する、請求項34に記載のシステム。
