以下に本発明を詳細に説明する。
本発明の製剤は、少なくとも殺虫剤(A)と高分子バインダー(B)と溶媒成分(C)と、必要に応じて他の成分(D)を含む。
本明細書における「殺虫剤」は、有害生物と戦うのに好適ないずれかの種類の有効成分を、具体的には特に殺虫剤や防虫剤、防黴剤、殺軟体動物剤、殺鼠剤などを含んでいる。
本水性製剤は、さらに、少なくともエチレン(B1)と不飽和カルボン酸(B2)とをモノマーとして含む製剤中に分散又は乳化された少なくとも一種の高分子バインダー(B)を含んでいる。

好ましくは、水のみが製剤用の溶媒として用いられる。しかしながら、さらに少量の(例えば50重量%未満の)水混和性有機溶媒を用いてもよい。このような助溶媒は、処理される表面の濡れ性を向上させるのに、あるいは疎水性の殺虫剤などの成分の製剤中の溶解性/分散性を向上させるのに有用であろう。助溶媒の例としては、水混和性のアルコール類、メタノール、エタノールまたはプロパノールなどのモノアルコール類、ポリエチレングリコールまたはポリエーテルポリオールなどの高級アルコール類、ブチルグリコールまたはメトキシプロパノール等のエーテルアルコール類があげられる。水性の混合物を用いる場合、この混合物は、少なくとも65%の、より好ましくは少なくとも80%の、非常に好ましくは少なくとも95重量%の水を含むことが好ましい。これらの数字は、いずれの場合も溶媒総量に対する値である。
処理される非生物材料の目的用途によっては、本発明の製剤は、さらに保存料、洗剤、フィラー、衝撃改質剤、防曇剤、発泡剤、透明剤、核剤、カップリング剤、導電性付与剤(帯電防止剤)、酸化防止剤などの安定剤、炭素や酸素ラジカルの捕捉剤や過酸化物分解剤等、難燃剤、離型剤、UV保護性薬剤、展着剤、粘着防止剤、移行防止剤、発泡剤、汚染防止剤、増粘剤、他の殺菌剤、界面活性剤、可塑剤やフィルム成形剤、接着剤または抗接着剤、光学増白剤(蛍光白化剤)、顔料や染料から選ばれる一種以上の成分を含んでいてもよい。
本発明の製剤は、適当な混合装置及び/又は分散装置を用いて、全成分を水とを、また必要に応じて他の溶媒とを混合して調整できる。一般にこの製剤は、10〜70℃の温度で、好ましくは15〜50℃、より好ましくは20〜40℃の温度で形成される。
・少なくとも一種の殺虫剤(A)を含む第一の成分と
・少なくとも一種の高分子バインダー(B)を含む第二の成分と
を含むキットとしてエンドユーザーに提供してもよいであろう。
・殺虫剤(A)と必要に応じて溶媒(C)とからなる製剤;および
・少なくとも一種の高分子バインダー(B)と溶媒成分(C)と必要に応じて他の成分(D)トからなる第二の別個の製剤とを含んでいる。
これらの成分(A)、(B)、(C)、及び必要に応じて(D)の濃度は、含浸に用いられる方法に応じて熟練者により選択される。
本発明の目的は、非生物材料を殺虫剤と高分子バインダーで処理してチック、ゴキブリ、ダニ、ノミ、シラミ、ヒル、イエバエ、蚊や他の飛行性昆虫や這行性昆虫等のいろいろな害虫を制御することを目的としている。

(a2)織物材料またはネットを、製剤に部分的又は完全に浸漬されたローラーに接触させ、ローラーとの接触により織物材料のネット側に製剤を引き寄せる加工工程、または
(a3)材料を製剤中に完全に浸す加工工程;または
(a4)製剤を織物材料またはネット上に吹き付ける加工工程;または
(a5)織物材料またはネット上に又はその中に製剤をブラシ塗布する加工工程;または
(a6)製剤を泡として塗布する加工工程;または
(a7)製剤を織物材料またはネット上に塗布する加工工程、
b)必要に応じて、ローラー間でまたはドクターブレードを用いて、材料を絞り、過剰の製剤を除く工程;及び
c)この織物材料またはネットを乾燥する工程。
織物またはネットを水性製剤中に通過させることで製剤が付着される。上記の工程は、当業界の熟練者にパッド法として知られている。ある好ましい実施様態においては、この織物またはネットが液体を含む溝槽内で完全に水性製剤中に浸漬させられるか、この織物またはネットが、水平に配列された二個のローラー間中の保持されている製剤中を通過されられる。本発明によれば、織物材料またはネットが製剤中を通過してもよいし、製剤が織物またはネット中を通過してもよい。製剤の消費量は、濃縮浴の安定性や、レベルの分布の必要性、織物またはネットの密度、乾燥および養生工程でのエネルギーコスト削減の必要性により影響を受ける。通常の液体消費量は、材料の重量に対して40〜150%であろう。当業界の熟練者はこの最適値についてよく理解している。a1)工程は、広幅の材料で最終的にネットなるものの含浸に好ましい。小規模生産または未処理ネットの再含浸のためには、簡単な手動ローラーでも十分であろう。
部分的に溶液または乳濁液または分散液に浸され、溶液または乳濁液または分散液を、ローラー(キスロール)と接触している織物材料またはネットの側に付着させるローラーを用いて、水性製剤を織物材料またはネット上に塗布してもよい。この方法では、織物材料またはネットの片面のみに含浸させることができ、これは、例えば人の皮膚が殺虫剤処理後の材料に直接接触することを避けたい場合に有利である。
噴霧は、連続的プロセスまたはバッチプロセスで、
吹き付け装置を備えた適当な織物機械、例えばポケット開放型衣類洗濯/抽出装置中で行われる。このような装置は、既製のネットの含浸に特に適している。
泡は、上述の溶液または乳濁液より水の含量が少ない。したがって、乾燥プロセスが非常に短くなる。この処理を、ガスまたはガス混合物(例えば、空気)をそこに注入して行ってもよい。界面活性剤の添加が、好ましくはフィルム形成性の界面活性剤の添加が必要であろう。好適な界面活性剤と必要な技術装置は、当業界の熟練者には公知である。
好ましくはドクターブレード法により塗装プロセスを行う。この加工条件は当業界の熟練者には公知である。
通常、よく知られているように織物材料またはネットをローラー間に通して絞ることで、過剰の溶液または乳濁液が除かれ、特定の液体消費量とされる。搾り取られた液体は再利用される。あるいは、過剰の水溶液または水乳濁液または水分散液を、遠心分離または真空吸引により除いてもよい。
乾燥は常温で行ってもよい。特に、このような受動的乾燥を高熱乾燥状態の気候下で行ってもよい。もちろん、この乾燥プロセスを高温で加速してもよい。通常大規模な加工の際には、積極的な乾燥プロセスが行われる。この乾燥は、一般的には200℃未満の温度で行われる。好ましい温度は50〜170℃であり、より好ましくは60〜150℃である。温度の選択は、殺虫剤の製剤中での熱安定性と含浸させる非生物材料の熱安定性により決められる。
使用材料
ネット
WHO−ロールバックマラリア「ネット材料の仕様」(ジュネーブ、2001)に従う市販のPET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)繊維製のネットを使用した。
ポリマーバインダー(B)は、WO2007/009909、18〜20頁に開示されている手法により調整した。
試料I:73重量%エチレン、27重量%メタクリル酸
試料II:92重量%エチレン、8重量%メタクリル酸
固定された攪拌機を有する2リットルのオートクレーブ中で、21.28%の試料Iと3.57%のジエタノールアミンと75.15%の純水とを混合し、撹拌下で98℃に加熱した。98℃で3時間後、冷却して室温とし、試料Iの水性乳濁液を得た。
固定された攪拌機を有する2リットルのオートクレーブ中で、25%の試料Iと3.4%のアンモニア(25%)と71.6%の脱イオン水を混合し、撹拌下で98℃に加熱した。98℃で3時間後、冷却して室温とし、試料Iの水性乳濁液を得た。
固定された攪拌機を有する2リットルのオートクレーブ中で、20%の試料IIと49,75%の純水と0,05部の亜硫酸ナトリウムと0.4部のKOHと4.2部の通常のノニオン性界面活性剤(2エチレンオキシド単位でエトキシ化されたC13−オキソアルコール)および2.6部のもう一つのノニオン性界面活性剤(10エチレンオキシド単位でエトキシ化されたC13−オキソアルコール)とを混合し、攪拌下で140℃に加熱した。140℃で30分後、さらに25部の水を添加し、混合物を140℃でさらに1時間攪拌した。最終的に室温まで冷却して、試料IIの水性乳濁液を得た。
浸漬法
本発明のバインダーを含む製剤
125gの織物密度が29.4g/m2の75−デニール嵩高ポリエステル糸からなるネットを、250mlの分散液Aと水(6.25gのバインダー(B)を含む)と1.77gのアルファシペルメトリンの水分散液(固体含量:約10g/l)とを含む2−Lビーカー中に浸し、その処理浴中で5分間手もみした。このネットは処理液体を完全に吸収した。これをビーカーから取り出し、清潔な表面上に平たく置いて常温で乾燥させた。
パッド法
本発明のバインダーを含む製剤
織物密度が30.2g/m2の、75−デニール嵩高ポリエステル糸製ネットの小片を、分散液Aと水(17.86gの固体バインダーを含む)と5.18gのアルファシペルメトリンの水分散液(固体含量:約10g/l)からなる300mLの処理浴中に通過させることにより含浸させた。ローラー間に小片を通して過剰の液体を搾り取り、(織物重量に対する)液体吸収率を80%とした。含浸後の小片を常温で乾燥した。
パッド法
本発明のバインダーを含む製剤
実施例2の方法を用いた。ただし分散液Bに変えて、(15gの固体バインダーを含む)液を用いた。
噴霧塗布
本発明のバインダーを含む製剤
3枚の、嵩高75デニールポリエステル糸製の標準的な家族サイズの(160×180×150cm)編みネットを50ポンドのミルノア末端投入洗濯/抽出機に投入した。空気霧化式の噴射ノズルを通じて、処理浴(分散液A)をこの機械中に注入した。機械の円筒中で回転転倒される間に、この処理浴がネットに吸着された。処理サイクルの時間は通常30分であった。この化学的な塗布プロセスが終了後、「湿った」処理後のネットを、洗濯/抽出機から工業用乾燥機に移動させ、80℃で30分間乾燥させた。
浸漬操作
実施例2の方法を用いた。ただし、分散液IIに変えて、従来のパラフィンワックス(1,98gのパラフィンワックスを含む)を含む製剤を用いた。
「モンペリエ洗濯法」(annex World Health Organization PVC, 3/07/2002 「持続性殺虫ネットの耐洗濯性の評価」に記載):水槽中30℃で、ネット状試料を個別に、0.5Lの脱イオン水と2g/Lの石鹸(pH:10−11)を含むビーカーにとり、10分間、1分間155運動の速度で洗濯した。
Claims (27)
- 殺虫剤と高分子バインダーとを含む非生物材料処理用の水性製剤であって、
該製剤が少なくとも、
(A)殺虫剤、
(B)水性製剤中に分散した平均分子量Mnが1500〜20000g/molの高分子バインダーで、以下のモノマー:
(B1)60〜95重量%のエチレン、
(B2)5〜40重量%の、以下の群からから選ばれる少なくとも一種の不飽和カルボン酸:
(B2a)モノエチレン性不飽和C3−C10モノカルボン酸、および
(B2b)モノエチレン性不飽和C4−C10ジカルボン酸、および
(B3)必要に応じて、0〜30重量%の、(B1)と(B2)とに共重合可能な他のエチレン性不飽和モノマー
から構成されるもの(ただし、モノマーの量は、いずれの場合も使用する全モノマーの総量に対するものである)、および
(C)水または少なくとも65重量%の水を含む水系溶媒混合物
を含むことを特徴とする製剤。 - (B1)の量が70〜80%で、(B2)の量が20〜30%で、(B3)の量が0〜9%である請求項1に記載の製剤。
- 前記モノマー(B2)がメタクリル酸である請求項1または2に記載の製剤。
- 前記殺虫剤(A)が、殺虫剤及び/又は防虫剤である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- 前記殺虫剤が、アルファシペルメトリン、シフルトリン、デルタメトリン、エトフェンプロクス、ペルメトリン、またはビフェントリンからなる群から選ばれる請求項4に記載の製剤。
- 少なくとも二種の異なる殺虫剤の混合物が使用される請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- 前記製剤が、さらに保存料、洗剤、フィラー、衝撃改質剤、防曇剤、発泡剤、透明剤、核剤、カップリング剤、導電性付与剤、帯電防止剤、酸化防止剤、難燃剤、離型剤、UV保護性薬剤、展着剤、粘着防止剤、移行防止剤、泡形成剤、汚染防止剤、増粘剤、バイオサイド剤、界面活性剤、可塑剤、フィルム成形剤、接着剤または抗接着剤、光学増白剤(蛍光白化剤)、顔料や染料からなる群から選ばれる一種以上の助剤成分を含む請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- (A)と(B)と(D)の総量に対して、(A)の量が20〜50重量%であり、(B)の量が40〜90重量%である請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- (A)と(B)と(D)の総量に対して、助剤(D)の量が0.1〜40重量%である請求項9に記載の製剤。
- 前記製剤が少なくとも一種の顔料及び/又は染料を含む請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- 前記製剤が少なくとも一種の界面活性剤を含む請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の製剤。
- 前記界面活性剤の量が、前記製剤の全成分の総量に対して0.1〜15重量%である請求項11に記載の製剤。
- 前記成分(A)と(B)と(C)と、および必要に応じて前記成分(D)を激しく混合することを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の水性製剤の製造方法。
- 前記製剤が、
・少なくとも一種の殺虫剤(A)を含む第一の成分;および
・少なくとも一種の高分子バインダー(B)を含む第二の成分
を含むキットとして提供され、
上記キットの二種の製剤が、必要に応じて助溶媒成分(C)を用いて激しく相互に攪拌される請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の水性製剤の製造方法。 - 上記キットがさらに、キットの第三の別個成分としてあるいは成分(A)及び/又は(B)の成分として添加物(D)を含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の製剤で非生物材料を含浸させ、乾燥させることを特徴とする殺虫剤処理非生物材料の製造方法。
- 上記非生物材料が織物材料である請求項16に記載の方法。
- 上記織物材料が、織物材料が、織布材料、不織布材料、箔及び/又はネットである請求項17に記載の方法。
- 乾燥が常温で行われる請求項16から18のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも以下の工程を含む請求項18に記載の方法。
a)以下の群から選ばれるいずれかの加工工程により上記水性製剤で織物及び/又はネットを処理する工程:
(a1)織物材料またはネットを製剤を通過させる加工工程;または
(a2)織物材料またはネットを、製剤に部分的又は完全に浸漬されたローラーに接触させ、ローラーとの接触により織物材料のネットの側に製剤を引き寄せる加工工程、または
(a3)材料を製剤中に沈める加工工程;または
(a4)製剤を織物材料またはネット上に吹き付ける加工工程;または
(a5)織物材料またはネット上に又はその中に製剤をブラシ塗布する加工工程;または
(a6)製剤を泡として塗布する加工工程;または
(a7)製剤を織物材料またはネット上に塗布する加工工程;
b)必要に応じて、ローラー間でまたはドクターブレードを用いて、材料を絞り、過剰の製剤を除く工程;及び
c)この織物材料またはネットを乾燥する工程。 - 工程a1)が、この織物またはネットを上記水性製剤を含む溝槽(トラフ)内で完全に水性製剤中に浸漬して行われるか、この織物またはネットを、水平に配列された二個のローラー間中の保持されている水性製剤中を通過されて行われる請求項20に記載の方法。
- 上記製剤が顔料及び/又は染料を含み、含浸と乾燥が同時に行われる請求項16から21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項16〜22のいずれか一項に記載の方法により得られることを特徴とする少なくとも殺虫剤(A)と高分子バインダー(B)とを含む含浸非生物材料。
- 上記非生物材料が織物材料である請求項23に記載の含浸材料。
- 上記織物材料が、不織布材料、箔、織物材料、及び/又はネットである請求項24に記載の含浸材料。
- 請求項24または25に記載の含浸材料を、人、動物及び材料の有害生物からの保護のための使用する方法。
- 上記含浸材料を、保護される材料で包む請求項26に記載の使用方法。
