Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の表面処理方法は、コーティング切削インサート固定用冶具に、冶具の上面に隣接した角が面取りされた開口を提供する段階と、コーティング切削インサートのレイク面が冶具の上面より低く前記面取りによって冶具の開口に生成された下部エッジより高く配置されるようにコーティング切削インサートを開口内に固定する段階と、コーティング切削インサートの切削刃R部とレイク面を表面処理する段階とを備える。

Claims (7)
- 上部角が面取りされた二つ以上のコーティング切削インサート固定壁を備える冶具を提供する段階と、
前記固定壁間の開口にコーティング切削インサートを位置させる段階と、
前記コーティング切削インサートのレイク面が前記固定壁の上面より低く配置されるように前記コーティング切削インサートを前記開口内に固定する段階と、
前記コーティング切削インサートの切削刃R部と前記レイク面を表面処理する段階と、 を備える、コーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。 - 前記コーティング切削インサートの前記レイク面は、前記固定壁の前記面取り部の下部エッジよりは高く配置される、請求項1に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
- 前記固定壁の面取り角は、25〜65度であり、前記コーティング切削インサートの前記レイク面と前記固定壁の前記上面との間の間隙は0.1〜0.6mmである、請求項1に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
- 前記表面処理する段階は、ブラッシング方法による、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
- 前記コーティング切削インサートは、PVDコーティングされた切削インサートである、請求項4に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
- 前記コーティング切削インサートのフランク面は、表面処理されない、請求項1に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
- 前記冶具は、耐熱強化プラスチック材質である、請求項1に記載のコーティング切削インサートの表面処理方法。
