Abstract
動力工具は回転モーターを備えた動力ユニット(10)と減速ギヤから構成され、減速ギヤは動力ユニット(10)に一度に1つずつ取り付け可能で交換可能なギヤユニット(16a−c)のセットで構成され、異なる総ギヤ比及びトルク許容量のような異なる動作特性をすべて有している。それぞれのギヤユニットは総ギヤ比、トルク範囲、特定の動力ユニットとのギヤユニットとの適合性に関係することなど特定データをプログラムされた電子認識装置(48)を各ギヤユニットに有している。動力ユニット(10)は多くの異なる動作パラメータセットのそれぞれをギヤユニット(16a−c)のうちの特定の1つを対象としてプログラムされた電子動作制御手段と、適合性があるか否か及びどのパラメータセットが適しているかを決定するため動力ユニットに取り付けられたギヤユニットと通信するための回路とを備えている。

Description
本発明は、動力ユニット、減速ギヤユニット、及び出力軸を備えた動力工具に関するものである。
上記種類の動力工具に関連した問題点は、減速ギヤの総ギヤ比で決定された特殊な出力速度及びトルクレベルのために使用分野が制限されることにある。作業現場において、数多くの異なる作業動作を実行するために多くの異なる出力トルクレベル及び/又は速度レベルを備えた複数の工具が必要とされる場合に、異なる減速ギヤユニットを備えた多くの工具が使用されなければならない。このことは、むしろ費用を掛かけて動力工具を準備しておかなければならないことを意味している。
より万能で作業現場での種々の作業動作を実行するために必要な動力工具の数を実質的に減らす上記種類の動力工具を提供することが本発明の主な目的である。
本発明の別の目的は、減速ギヤの動作特性を得ることができる上記種類の動力工具を提供することにある。
本発明の好ましい実施形態は添付図面を参照して以下に詳細に説明される。
図1に示す動力工具は、動力制御押しボタン12を備えたハンドル11を含む動力ユニット10と、図示されていない回転モーターを備えるモーター部13から構成されている。モーターは角度ドライブを介して駆動スピンドルに結合されている。これは本発明にとって重要性をもつものではなく、従って詳細に例示しない。さらに駆動動力ユニット10は、出力軸を支持している個々の減速ギヤユニット16a−cを取付けるための連結手段14を備えている。連結手段14は、動力ユニット10に取り付けられることになるギヤユニット16a−cと同軸にのびる管状首部15を備えている。首部15には、ギヤユニット16a−cの保持手段の一部を形成する周囲溝18が設けられている。特定の作業動作に適した減速ギヤユニットは、総ギヤ比、トルク出力及び速度に関する種々の特性の幾つかの交換可能なギヤユニット16a−cから選ばれる。それぞれのギヤユニット16a−cは、例えばネジジョイント緊締用のナットソケットに接続されることになる出力軸を備えている。
この種の動力工具は、重作業ネジジョイントを緊締する、すなわち高いトルクレベルの相当に大きなネジジョイントを緊締するのに特に適しており、またネジジョイントを緊締する間に発生した大きな反動トルクを吸収して作業者を保護するために、個々の減速ギヤユニットは動力ユニット10に対して回転可能であって反動バー(示されていない)に嵌合されている。そのような反動バーは緊締されるネジジョイントに隣接した固定物体に対して支持を講じるようにされ、また各々のギヤユニットにはそのような反動バーを装着するためにスプライン部21が設けられている。
各々のギヤユニット16a−cは、動力ユニット10の連結手段14とスイベル接続する接続部19を有している。図4に示すように、ギヤユニットの各々は、内側にリングギヤ歯25をもつ円筒状ケーシング24を備え、リングギヤ歯25は、第一の遊星ギヤ28及び第二の遊星ギヤ29の遊星歯車26、27のそれぞれと共動する。ケーシング24はその前方端部で、第二の遊星ギヤ29のための遊星歯車キャリアを形成する出力軸31を支持し、第二の遊星ギヤ29の太陽ギヤ32は第一の遊星ギヤ28のための遊星歯車キャリアを形成している。第一の遊星ギヤ28の太陽歯車33は軸受34で支持され、動力装ユニット0における図示されていない駆動スピンドルと相互接続するための多角形ソケット部35が形成されている。
それぞれのギヤユニット16a−cの後方端部に配置された接続部19は、4つのボール38の形状をもち、ケーシング24の後方端部の開口部39に支持された保持手段と、固定位置と解放位置との間でケーシング24の外側で回転可能な固定リング40とを包含している。固定リング40には、固定リング40の解放位置でボール38を部分的に受けるための4つのポケット37が形成されている。固定リング40の固定位置では、ボール38は、動力ユニットの首部15における周囲溝18と係合して径方向に固定されている。図2Bにおいて、固定リング40はその固定位置にあり、一方、図3Bでは、固定リング40は、ボール38をポケット37で受け、そして動力ユニット10の首部15における溝18から解放された開放位置にある。固定リング40はその解放位置では図3の矢印の方向に回されている。
2つの環状形態のバネ41、42は固定リング40の内側に配置され、一方ではケーシングの図示されていない肩部に対して、他方では固定リング40に取り付けられた噛み合い要素44に対して支持し、固定リングをその固定位置に向かって偏倚させるようにしている。それぞれのギヤユニットのケーシング24にはそれの後方端部に、動力ユニット10における反回転スタッド46を受けるポケット45が設けられている。このスタッド46の目的は、固定位置と解放位置との間で固定リング40を回転させる際に、ギヤユニットの回転を阻止することにある。
ギヤユニット16a−cの各々には、電子識別装置48が設けられ、この電子識別装置48によって、総ギヤ比、トルク範囲及び特定の動力ユニット置との互換性などのような動作特性を含むそれぞれのギヤユニットの識別が認識できる。好ましくはこの電子識別装置48はまた、実行された多くの作業動作のようなデータを記録するための手段を備え、ギヤユニットの実際の状況やサービスの必要性を予測できる。識別装置48は非常によくプログラムされたデータチップであってもよい。
識別装置48によって提供される情報は、動力ユニット10に内蔵の電子動作制御手段によって受けられる。この制御手段は、幾つかのギヤユニットの各々で作業動作を実行するための特定数の代替パラメータセットでプログラムされ、それぞれのパラメータセットは1つの特定ギヤユニット及び1つの特定作業動作に適している。例えばネジジョイントを緊締する応用では、パラメータセットは正確な仕方で緊締動作を実行するために望ましいトルクレベル及び回転角度を含んでいる。
利用できるギヤユニット16a−cのうちの特定の1つが動力ユニット10に取り付けられると、動力ユニット10に内蔵した動作制御手段は、ギヤユニットからの応答信号を探す探査周期の形態で信号を発生し、また取り付けられたギヤユニットから特定の応答信号を受けると、動作制御手段は最初に、ギヤユニットが実際に動力ユニットとの適合性があるのか否かを決定する。適合性が正しければ、制御手段はまさしくこのギヤユニットに適した特定パラメータセットと受信信号とを整合する。適合性が確立され、そして正しい動作パラメータセットが選択されると、動作制御手段は動力工具を使用可能状態に設定する。
上述のように、識別装置はまた、ギヤユニットの実行された作業周期及びできれば実行された動作中に変換されたトルク負荷も記録する手段を備えていてもよい。これによってギヤユニットの現在の状況を予測できる。これは電子手段を備える固定のテスト装置にギヤユニットを連結することによって成され得、かかる電子手段はギヤユニットにおける識別装置48と通信することができそこからデータを引き出すことができる。

Claims (4)
- 動力ユニット(10)及び出力軸を備える減速ギヤを有する電動工具において、
前記減速ギヤが、動作特性の異なる交換可能な減速ギヤユニット(16a−c)のセットのうちの1つであり、しかも一度に1つずつ前記動力ユニット(10)に取り付けでき、
前記減速ギヤユニット(16a−c)のそれぞれが、総ギヤ比、トルク範囲、及びどの種の動力ユニットに適合するかなどの前記ギヤユニットのための特定データでプログラムされた電子識別装置(48)を備えていることを特徴とする動力工具。 - 前記電子識別装置(48)がデータチップから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の動力工具。
- 前記ギヤユニット(16a−c)の各々の前記電子識別装置(48)が、実行された作業周期の数を記録して累積するための手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の動力工具。
- 前記動力ユニット(10)が、多くの異なる動作パラメータセットのそれぞれを前記ギヤユニット(16a−c)のうちの特定の1つのためにプログラムされた電子動作制御手段を備え、前記動作制御手段が、前記ギヤユニットと前記動力ユニットとの適合性を確立ししかもそのギヤユニットのため前記パラメータセットを選択するために前記動力ユニットに取り付けられたギヤユニットの前記識別装置との通信できる回路を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の動力工具。
