Abstract
Description
1)色素上皮レベル内部における老廃物の蓄積は、一生を通じて幼児期から出発して発生する。
2)この老廃物を処理するための網膜の代謝活性及び能力は、典型的には年齢と共に減少する。
3)黄斑色素は、典型的には人が年をとるにつれて減少し、それ故より少量の青色光しか濾光除去(filtering out)しなくなる。
4)青色光はリポフスチンが毒性になることを引き起こす。
5)得られる毒性により、色素上皮細胞が損傷される。

Claims (25)
- 400nm〜460nmの波長を有する光を選択的に抑制するフィルムを有する眼用システムであって、該システムは可視スペクトルにわたって少なくとも約85%の明所視発光透過率及び約80%未満の光毒性率を有する眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約70%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約60%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約50%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約15%以下だけ暗所視発光透過率を低減する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約60%を超える概日リズム率を有する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 更に色調和成分を有する請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 前記フィルムがPVAである請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- そのシステムによって引き起こされるいずれかのマンセルカラーシステムタイルのD65発光体下における最大カラーシフトが、CIE(L*,a*,b*)色空間における約20丁度可知差異(JND)単位以下である請求項1記載の眼用システム。
- 400nm〜460nmの波長を有する光を選択的に抑制するフィルムを有する眼用システムであって、該システムは可視スペクトルにわたって少なくとも85%の明所視発光透過率を有し、約15%以下だけ暗所視発光透過率を低減する眼用システム。
- 前記システムが可視スペクトルにわたって少なくとも95%の明所視発光透過率を有する請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- 更に色調和成分を有する請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- 前記フィルムがPVAである請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- そのシステムによって引き起こされるいずれかのマンセルカラーシステムタイルのD65発光体下における最大カラーシフトが、CIE(L*,a*,b*)色空間における約20丁度可知差異(JND)単位以下である請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約80%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約70%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項10記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約60%未満の光毒性率を有する請求項10記載の眼用システム。

- 400nm〜460nmの波長を有する光の透過を低減するが排除しない染料を含有するフィルム;及び
そのフィルムに隣接して配置された色調和成分;
を有する眼用システム。 - 前記システムは少なくとも約85%の明所視発光透過率及び80%未満の光毒性率を有する眼用システム。
- 400nm〜460nmの波長を有する光を選択的に抑制する被覆を有する眼用システムであって、該システムは可視スペクトルにわたって少なくとも約85%の明所視発光透過率及び約80%未満の光毒性率を有する眼用システム。
- 前記被覆が前記システムの最外側層にあるハードコートである請求項21記載の眼用システム。
- 前記システムが約15%以下だけ暗所視発光透過率を低減する請求項21記載の眼用システム。
- レンズ;
400nm〜460nmの波長を有する光の透過を低減するが排除しない第一の染料を含有する第一の被覆であって、レンズの最外側表面上に配置されたハードコート;及び
第一の染料により引き起こされるカラーシフトを調和させる第二の染料を少なくとも含有する第二の被覆;
を有する眼用システム。 - 前記第一の被覆がハードコートであり、前記第二の被覆がハードコートである請求項24記載のシステム。
