Abstract

Se proporciona una película adecuada para su uso en un sistema oftálmico. La película puede inhibir selectivamente luz azul dentro del rango de longitud de onda de 400 nm a 460 nm para reducir la luz fototóxica al ojo manteniendo simultáneamente la visión fotópica, y puede equilibrarse en color para permitirle al sistema en que se incorpora la película ser percibido como incoloro por un visualizador que observa y/o que utiliza el sistema. El sistema puede tener una transmisión luminosa fotópica y escotópica de 85% o más y una relación de fototoxicidad menor al 80%. Cuando se utiliza en un sistema oftálmico u otro sistema colocado entre el ojo de un observador y una fuente de luz, la película puede reducir el flujo de luz azul hacia las estructuras internas del ojo reduciendo o minimizando simultáneamente la dilatación de la pupila.
