Abstract
【解決手段】濾過膜32は、各々が複数のポリマー層52、54を延伸することにより形成された異なる気孔直径を有する複数のポリマー層を含み、これら複数のフィルター層は延伸される前に共に連結され、異なる孔径はこれらフィルター層の共延伸中に形成される。

Claims (10)
- 複数の層(52,54)を接合(104,114)し、
接合(104,114)した後、複数の層(52,54)を共延伸(106,118)して、層毎に変化する気孔率を有する濾過膜(32)を形成する
ことを含んでなる方法。 - 接合すること(104,114)が、複数の層(52,54)を前もって延伸することなくこれらの層(52,54)の面を一緒に固定することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 複数の層(52,54)を接合すること(104,114)が複数のポリマーシートを一緒にプレスすることを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 接合すること(104,114)が、加熱により複数の層(52,54)を熱的に接合すること、複数の層(52,54)を化学的に接合すること又はこれらの組合せを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 共延伸すること(106,118)が、接合(104,114)後、複数の層(52,54)を少なくとも約20%延伸することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 共延伸すること(106,118)が各対の隣接する層(52,54)間の接合界面(56)を延伸することを含み、接合界面(56)が隣接する層(52,54)内の気孔を通る流れを少なくとも部分的に遮断する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 第1の孔径を与えるように設定された第1のポリマー混合物を調製し(96)、
第2の孔径を与えるように設定された第2のポリマー混合物を調製し(98)、
第1のポリマー混合物を押出して(100)第1のプリフォームにし、第2のポリマー混合物を押出して(102)第2のプリフォームにし、
第1のプリフォーム及び第2のプリフォームを結合して(104,114)二重層状ポリマーシートにし、
二重層状ポリマーシートを共延伸して(106,118)、第1の孔径の気孔を含む第1の層(52)と第2の孔径の気孔を含む第2の層(54)とを含む濾過膜(32)を形成する
ことを含んでなる、請求項1記載の方法。 - 結合すること(104,114)が、第1及び第2のプリフォームを一緒にプレスすることを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 結合すること(104,114)が、第1のプリフォームをプレスして(110)第1のシートにし、第2のプリフォームをプレスして(112)第2のシートにし、第1のシートと第2のシートを一緒にプレスする(114)ことを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 結合すること(104,114)が、第1のプリフォームをプレスして(110)第1のシートにし、第2のプリフォームをプレスして(112)第2のシートにし、第1及び第2のシートを乾燥し、共延伸(106,118)中に第1のシートと第2のシートを一緒に加圧することを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
