Abstract
【解決手段】内側レース3と、外側レース2と、2つのレース2、3の間に位置する軸受保持器5内に配置された転動体4の配列とを備えている。軸受1内における保持器5の偏心動作を制限するために軸受保持器5の内面が内側レース3上で案内され、保持器5に設けられた一対の周方向堰6a,7bの間に形成されたリザーバ9を更に有している。内側レース3の外面が、リザーバ9内の油と接触する隆起したランド部3dを含んでいる。このことにより、保持器5と内側レース3との相対速度を制御し、保持器5が前記偏心動作している間に、ランド部3dと油との間の前記制御接触を維持するために、各堰6b,7bの径方向深さは、ランド部3dと保持器5との間の最大径方向隙間よりも大きくなっている。

Claims (13)
- 内側レース(3)と、
外側レース(2)と、
2つのレース(2,3)の間に位置する軸受保持器(5)内に配置された転動体(4)の配列と、を備え、
軸受(1)内における保持器(5)の偏心動作を制限するために、軸受保持器(5)の内面が内側レース(3)上で案内され、
保持器(5)に設けられた一対の周方向堰(6a,7a;6b,7b)の間に形成されたリザーバ(8,9)を更に有し、
内側レース(3)の外面が、リザーバ(8,9)内の油(9a)と接触する隆起したランド部(3c,3d)を含み、このことにより、保持器(5)と内側レース(3)との相対速度を制御し、
保持器(5)が前記偏心動作している間に、ランド部(3d)と油(9a)との間の前記制御接触を維持するために、各堰(6a,7a;6b,7b)の径方向深さは、ランド部(3d)と保持器(5)との間の最大径方向隙間よりも大きくなっており、
保持器を内側レースから軸方向に分離できるように堰のうちの1つ以上が取り外し可能になっている、ことを特徴とする転がり軸受(1)。 - 転動体の配列の両側に設けられたリザーバ(8,9)を有し、
各リザーバ(8,9)は、保持器(5)の内側周方向堰と外側周方向堰(6a,7a;6b,7b)との間にそれぞれ形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。 - 内側堰(6a,6b)のうちの一方または両方は、それぞれの外側堰(7a,7b)よりも小さい径方向深さを有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の転がり軸受。
- 内側レース(3)は、一対の内側レースリング(3a,3b)から形成された分割レースであり、
内側レース(3)を保持器(5)から軸方向に分離できるように、外側堰(7a,7b)がそれぞれ取り外し可能であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の転がり軸受。 - 外側堰(7a,7b)は、内側レースリング(3a,3b)の端面の軸方向外側にそれぞれ位置し、このことにより、内側レースリング(3a,3b)の相対的な軸方向分離を制限して、軸受(1)を単一のユニットアセンブリとして保持することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の転がり軸受。
- 外側堰(7a,7b)のうちの一方または両方は、保持器(5)の前記偏心動作を減衰させるためにそれぞれの端面と摩擦係合することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の転がり軸受。
- 各内側堰(6a,6b)は、保持器の一部として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
- 保持器(5)は、単一部品の保持器であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の転がり軸受。
- 取り外し可能な堰(7a,7b)のうちの1つ以上は、圧縮して嵌められた状態で保持器(5)の内面と係合する弾性リング部材として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記リザーバ(8,9)の少なくとも一方に対して直接に油を供給するために内側レースを貫通する1つ以上の油供給通路(10,11)を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の転がり軸受。
- ガスタービンエンジンの主ロータ軸を支持するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の転がり軸受。
- 請求項1に記載の転がり軸受を組み付ける方法であって、
内側レース(3)と保持器(5)とを軸方向に組み付ける工程と、
その後に前記周方向堰のうちの1つ以上を保持器(5)に対して固定する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 保持器(5)と内側レース(3)のその後の軸方向分離のために、前記1つ以上の周方向堰を保持器(5)に対して取り外し可能に固定する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
