【解決手段】1種以上の熱可塑性ポリウレタン、および重合単位として1種以上の水素結合可能なモノマーを含む1種以上のアクリル系ポリマーを含むポリマー膜が提供される。

Description
互いに反応してポリマーの繰り返し単位を形成できる分子は、本明細書において、「モノマー」と称される。
ポリマーを特徴づける一方法は示差走査熱量計によって測定されるようなガラス転移温度(Tg)である。
ある実施形態においては、5,000以上;または10,000以上;または25,000以上;または50,000以上;または100,000以上の重量平均分子量を有する本発明のTPUが使用される。独立して、ある実施形態においては、2,000,000以下;または1,000,000以下;または500,000以下;または300,000以下の重量平均分子量を有する本発明のTPUが使用される。
ある実施形態においては、本発明のアクリル系ポリマーは1種以上の(メタ)アクリルアミドの重合単位を含む。好適な(メタ)アクリルアミドには、例えば、アクリルアミド、メタクリルアミド、およびこれらの置換体が挙げられる。
ある実施形態においては、使用される水素結合可能なモノマーだけが1種以上の(メタ)アクリル酸ヒドロキシ置換アルキルである。
本明細書および特許請求の範囲の目的のために、ここで開示されるそれぞれの操作は、他に示されない限りは、25℃で行われることが理解される。
膜を試験するのに使用された引裂伝播抵抗方法は、25.4cm/分(10インチ/分)のクロスヘッド分離速度での、ASTM方法D1922(エルメンドルフ引裂;Elmendorf Tear)(米国、ペンシルベニア州、ウェストコンショホッケンのASTMインターナショナル)であった。結果はグラムフォースで報告される。
ヘイズ(haze)および視感透過率は方法ASTM D1003(米国、ペンシルベニア州、ウェストコンショホッケンのASTMインターナショナル)によって試験された。ヘイズは全透過率に対する拡散透過率の割合であり、パーセンテージで表される。
応力白化試験は次のように行われる:薄い透明な膜ストリップが2つの手で伸ばされて、膜が応力下で白色に変化した場合には、それは表中で「−」と表示された。膜が応力下で白色にならなかった場合には、それは「+」と表示された。
クリープ抵抗測定:10mm幅で140mm長さの膜サンプルが一方の端でつるされる。4MPaの応力を作り出す重量が底部に適用される。そのサンプルは、次いで、室温(25℃)で100時間おかれる。クリープの量が次のように定義される:
A=100×(L−L0)/L0
式中、L=100時間後の長さ、L0=開始時の長さである。
30以下のAを有するサンプルは「合格」と見なされるが、30を超えるAを有するサンプルは不合格と見なされる。

上記エマルションのそれぞれがラボスプレー乾燥機(NIRO Inc.、Soeborg、デンマーク)を用いて噴霧乾燥され、30mm二軸スクリュー押し出し機および4mmの2−ストランドダイ(Werner & Phleiderer、ニュージャージー州、ラムゼー)を用いて、粉体が脂肪族TPU、Krystalgran(商標)PN03−217(米国、ミシガン州、ハンツマン)と共にペレットにされた。ペレット化の条件は以下の通りであった:温度は190℃であり、供給速度は4.5−6.8kg/時(10−15 lbs/時)であり、RPMは150であった。
KrystalgranPN03−217(米国、ミシガン州、ハンツマン)が上記アクリル系ポリマー粉体とブレンドされ、30mm二軸スクリュー押し出し機および4mmの2−ストランドダイ(Werner Phleiderer、ラムゼー)を用いてペレットにされた。TPU対アクリル系(重量比)は70:30〜10:90であった。ペレットは2.25mmダイ(Killion、24:1 D/L、ニュージャージー州)を用いた単一層吹き込み膜ラインであって、単層膜を生じさせた。
Claims (8)
- 1種以上の熱可塑性ポリウレタン、および重合単位として1種以上の水素結合可能なモノマーを含む1種以上のアクリル系ポリマーを含むポリマー膜。
- アクリル系ポリマーがジエンモノマーの重合単位を含まない、請求項1に記載のポリマー膜。
- アクリル系ポリマーがニトリル基を含むモノマーの重合単位を含まない、請求項1に記載のポリマー膜。
- アクリル系ポリマーが酸官能性モノマーの重合単位を含まない、請求項1に記載のポリマー膜。
- 熱可塑性ポリウレタンが脂肪族である、請求項1に記載のポリマー膜。
- 請求項1の膜の1以上を含み、当該膜が剛性の支持体間の隙間を覆う構造体。
- 構造体が温室である請求項6に記載の構造体。
- 請求項1の組成の1以上の層および感圧接着剤の1以上の層を含む複数層構造体。
