Abstract
【解決手段】排気再循環路4においてターボ過給機5の上流に、排気再循環路4の平均横断面積より大きな濾過層6を備え、濾過層6が複数の層から形成されていて、該層が互いに結合されている。濾過層6が、内燃機関の排気体積1.0リットル当たり少なくとも10cm2の濾過面を有する。

Claims (12)
- 排気再循環路(4)を有し、該排気再循環路(4)を通って流れる排気がターボ過給機(5)を駆動する、所定の排気体積(3)を有する内燃機関(2)の排気処理装置(1)であって、
排気再循環路(4)においてターボ過給機(5)の上流に、排気再循環路(4)の平均横断面積(8)より大きな濾過層(6)が設けられており、しかも
濾過層(6)が複数の層(14、21)から形成されていて、該層が互いに結合されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気処理装置。 - 濾過層(6)が、内燃機関(2)の排気体積(3)1.0リットル当たり少なくとも10cm2の濾過面(7)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。
- 濾過層(6)が、排気再循環路(4)を通る排気の流れ方向(9)に対して斜めに置かれていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の排気処理装置。
- 排気再循環路(4)が、濾過層(6)の領域に局所的拡張部(10)を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3の1つに記載の排気処理装置。
- 濾過層(6)がフィラメント線(11)製金網を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4の1つに記載の排気処理装置。
- 濾過層(6)が、内のり幅(13)が少なくとも0.05mmの多数の開口(12)を有することを特徴とする請求項5記載の排気処理装置。
- フィラメント線(11)が互いに材料的に結合されていることを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載の排気処理装置。
- 第1層(14)が濾過機能を有し、第2層(21)が保持機能を有することを特徴とする請求項1から7の1つに記載の排気処理装置。
- 1つの層(21)が、少なくとも5.0mmの対角線寸法(17)を有する多数の格子目(16)を形成しているワイヤ構造物(15)で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8記載の排気処理装置。
- 濾過層(6)が流れ方向(9)においてセラミック壁フィルタ(18)に後置接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1から9の1つに記載の排気処理装置。
- 濾過層(6)が、排気再循環路(4)の冷却器(19)とターボ過給機(5)との間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から10の1つに記載の排気処理装置。
- 請求項1から11の1つに記載の排気処理装置(1)を備えることを特徴とする自動車。
