- ドリル本体(4)と、端面側に形成されたトルク伝達用継手(キャリヤ継手)を介して前記ドリル本体(4)に交換可能に取り付けられた工具ヘッド(6)とを備え、前記キャリヤ継手が、トルク伝達用部材受け(キャリヤ受け)と、工具中心を越えて延びキャリヤ受けに係合するトルク伝達用部材(キャリヤ)(24)を有している、ドリル工具(2)であって、
前記キャリヤ受けが、キャリヤ(24)の全体を受けるための鉢巻状囲壁(38)を備えた受けポケット(36)によって形成されていることを特徴とするドリル工具(2)。 - キャリヤ(24)が全体をカバーする接触面(26a)で取り囲まれ、該接触面(26a)が受けポケット(36)の周りの対応した接触面(26b)に接することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)がその終端部に向かって増大するキャリヤ幅(b)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)が、半径方向において少なくとも部位的に凹面状に湾曲して延びる鉢巻状側壁面(28a)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- 工具ヘッド(6)が、軸方向(A)に延びるねじ(14)によってドリル本体(4)に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- ねじ(14)がキャリヤ(24)の周縁部位を貫通し、受けポケット(36)のポケット底(40)にねじ込まれていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のドリル工具(2)。
- ねじ軸線(48)が、ねじ(14)が貫通する孔(18)の孔軸線(50)に対して、キャリヤ(24)が受けポケット(36)に対して締付け固定されるように、ずれを有していることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)および受けポケット(36)がそれぞれ、部分部位において互いに背面係合を形成する鉢巻状側壁面(28a、28b)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)が少なくとも部分部位において、受けポケット(36)に関して過剰寸法を有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)および受けポケット(36)がそれぞれ鉢巻状側壁面(28a、28b)を有し、キャリヤ(24)および/又は受けポケット(36)の側壁面(28a、28b)が少なくとも部分部位において軸方向(A)に円錐状に延びて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- キャリヤ(24)が非対称に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし10のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)。
- 端面側に配置され工具中心を越えて延びるキャリヤ(24)を備えたドリル本体(4)に交換可能に配置するための、請求項1ないし11のいずれか1つに記載のドリル工具(2)における工具ヘッド(6)であって、
キャリヤ(24)が接触面(26a)によって全周を取り囲まれていることを特徴とするドリル工具(2)における工具ヘッド(6)。 - 中央きりもみインサート(12)とその両側に交換可能に配置された切削プレート(16)を有していることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の工具ヘッド。
