Claims (17)
- 体腔のプローブ検査及び治療のためのシステムであって、
長手方向軸に沿って延びる可撓性管路であって、近位端および遠位端を有する可撓性管路と、
前記可撓性管路に沿って位置決めされた少なくとも1つの送達導波路および少なくとも1つの収集導波路であって、約750〜2500ナノメートルの範囲内の波長で放射を伝送するように構成されて配置された少なくとも1つの送達導波路および少なくとも1つの収集導波路と、
前記管路の一部分の周りに配設された内腔拡張膨張可能バルーンと
を備え、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路の伝送出力端と前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路の伝送入力端とが、前記バルーン内部に配置され、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路の伝送出力端と、前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路の伝送入力端とは、あらかじめ定められた間隔を開けて配置されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路と前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路とが、端部を有する光学的要素を有し、前記端部は、前記放射が前記ファイバの長手方向軸に対して横向きの方向に放出されるように、前記送達光ファイバの前記長手方向軸に沿って伝送される放射の経路の方向を変えるための反射面として機能することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路が、2つ、3つ、または4つの送達導波路を備え、前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路が、2つ、3つ、または4つの収集導波路を備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記バルーンが前記内腔の内部で膨張しているときに、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路が、内腔の内壁を、前記バルーンを通して前記内壁の360度部分を照明するように構成され、前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路が、前記バルーンを通して前記内壁の前記照明された360度部分の周りの前記内腔の前記内壁から放射を受け取るように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記可撓性管路に関して互いに円周方向について反対側に配置された第1および第2の導波路を備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、さらに、ある屈折率を有するカバーであって、入射放射を所定の方向に向けるように前記非クラッドファイバコアと前記カバー内の前記材料との界面を提供するカバー、を更に備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路の前記伝送出力端が分光計に接続され、前記分光計は、約750〜2500ナノメートルの範囲内の波長で放射を走査して分光法を実施するように構成されて配置されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項7に記載のシステムであって、前記分光計が、拡散反射分光法を実施するように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項7に記載のシステムであって、前記分光計が、約1650〜1850ナノメートルの範囲内で放射を走査して分光法を実施するように構成されて配置されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記1つ以上の波長範囲を使用する走査が、1つ以上の離散的な波長を使用する走査を含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、さらに、前記システムによって収集されたデータの分析をさらに制御するために、前記少なくとも1つの放射源の作動および非作動の制御を自動化するようにプログラムされた制御装置を備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項11に記載のシステムであって、前記制御装置が、化学成分の存在、組織形態学的構造、水含有量、血液含有量、温度、pH、および色の少なくとも1つを含む、対象組織の1つ以上の特性を識別するようにプログラムされることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項11に記載のシステムであって、前記制御装置は、前記バルーンの拡張の体積を測定するようにプログラムされていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項11に記載のシステムであって、さらに、前記少なくとも1つの放射源と前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路との間に結合されたスイッチであって、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路に対して前記少なくとも1つの放射源を選択的に適用するスイッチを備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記可撓性管路と、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路と、前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路と、前記バルーンとを含むカテーテルの最大外径が、前記バルーンが膨張していないときに約1.5ミリメートル未満であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路と前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路との少なくとも一方が、グレーデッドインデックス光ファイバを備えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの送達導波路の伝送出力端と前記少なくとも1つの収集導波路の伝送入力端とが、前記バルーンの内面に取り付けられることを特徴とするシステム。
