Description
以下のセクションは、DOTを実行するための異なる方法を記述する。全てのモードは、専用ハードウエア、ソフトウエア及び画像再構成アルゴリズムを要する。
1実施例において、画像計算は、組織の3D画像を得るために画像再構成アルゴリズムを利用する。(濾過された)背景映写及び有限要素モデリング(FEM)に限られないが、それらのような数個の既知の画像再構成アルゴリズムを、使うことができる。
1実施例において、検出器ユニットは、検出器に入射する電磁放射の全量を検出できる光検出器である。そのような検出器の1例は、シリコン光ダイオードである。
1実施例において、システムは、システムの全ての電磁放射検出器が含まれる経直腸的又は経尿道プローブを含む。従って、単一プローブは、1以上の電磁放射源と、1以上の検出器を含む。
Claims (11)
- 複数の電磁放射路を形成する電磁放射源及び検出ユニットから選ばれた少なくとも3つのユニットを含む生体前立腺の前立腺癌のイメージング用システムで、
少なくとも1つの電磁放射源は、前記尿道ユニット内に含まれ、尿道ユニットは、尿道を通じる挿入に適し、使用中は前立腺の近くに置かれ、
少なくとも1つの検出器ユニットは、経直腸ユニット内に含まれ、前記経直腸ユニットは、直腸を通る挿入に適し、使用中は前立腺の近くに置かれ、
前記電磁放射源は、入射電磁放射を前記前立腺に放射するように構成され、前記検出ユニットは、前記電磁放射を受け取るように構成され、前記電磁放射は、前記前立腺内で多数回散乱され、:
前記少なくとも1つの検出ユニットにより前記の受け取られた散乱電磁放射に基づき、前記前立腺の拡散光トモグラフィー(DOT)画像データセットを再構成するための画像再構成ユニット;及び
前記画像データセット内の情報に基づき健康組織と病変組織間の識別をするための識別ユニット
を更に含むシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの電磁放射源及び前記少なくとも1つの検出器ユニットは、画像化されるべき癌のどちらか片側に置かれる請求項1によるシステム。
- 前記画像データセットは、2D,3D,又は多次元画像データセットである請求項1又は2によるシステム。
- 各電磁放射源及び各検出器ユニットの間の距離は、2mmから10cmである請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項によるシステム。
- 前記前立腺の超音波画像データセットを提供するための超音波ユニットを更に含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項によるシステム。
- 前記超音波ユニットが前記経直腸ユニットに一体化され、且つ使用中前記前立腺の超音波画像データセットを提供するように構成された請求項5によるシステム。
- 前記超音波画像データセットが、前記拡散光トモグラフィー画像データセットの情報を用い前記組織の生体検査を案内するために使われる請求項5又は6によるシステム。
- 前記超音波ユニットは、互いに関し尿道ユニット及び経直腸的ユニットの位置と向きとを決定するために使われる請求項5又は6又は7によるシステム。
- 生体前立腺の前立腺癌をイメージングするシステムの作動を制御する方法であって、
前立腺の近くに置かれる尿道ユニットの少なくとも1つの電磁放射源からの入射電磁放射を前記前立腺に放射する手段が作動し、
前立腺の近くに置かれる経直腸ユニットの少なくとも1つの検出器ユニットを用い前記電磁放射を受ける手段が作動し、ここで、前記電磁放射は、前記前立腺内で多数回散乱されており、前記入射電磁放射の放射と前記電磁放射の受け取りは、複数の電磁放射路を形成し、
前記の受け取られた散乱電磁放射に基づき、前記前立腺の拡散光トモグラフィー画像データセットを再構成する手段が作動し、及び
前記画像データセット内の情報に基づき健康組織と病変組織間の識別をする手段が作動する、方法。 - 生体前立腺の前立腺癌のイメージングのためのコンピュータにより処理用のコンピュータプログラムを具体化したコンピュータ読取可能媒体で、
尿道ユニットの少なくとも1つの電磁放射源から前記前立腺への入射電磁放射を放射するための放射コードセグメント、
経直腸ユニットの少なくとも1つの検出器ユニットを用いる電磁放射を受け取るための受取コードセグメントを含み、前記電磁放射は、前記前立腺内で複数回散乱され、前記入射電磁放射と前記電磁放射の受け取りは、複数の電磁放射路を形成し、
前記受け取られた散乱電磁放射に基づく前記前立腺の拡散光トモグラフィー画像データセットを再構成する再構成コードセグメント、及び
前記画像データセット中の情報に基づき健康及び病変組織間を区別するための識別コードセグメント
を更に含むコンピュータ読取可能媒体。 - コンピュータ処理特性を有する装置により実行された時に、請求項9に定義された全ての方法ステップを実行するように配置されたコードセグメントを含む請求項10によるコンピュータ読取可能媒体。
