Abstract

Claims (14)
- 検体処理装置に試薬を装填する方法であって、
1組のアイコンの別個のアイコンによってそれぞれが視覚的に印付けられている選択された試薬入りの複数の容器を有する、キットを提供するステップと、
前記1組のアイコンから選択されたアイコンによってそれぞれが視覚的に印付けられている少なくとも1つの試薬レセプタクルをそれぞれ有する、複数のトレイを提供するステップと、
試薬を、前記容器の少なくともいくつかのそれぞれから、前記容器を視覚的に印付ける前記1組のアイコンと同じ別個のアイコンで視覚的に印付けられている試薬レセプタクル内に移すステップと、
前記トレイを検体処理装置の選択された位置に取り付けるステップとを含む方法。 - 前記キットが、複数のサブセットの容器を備え、該サブセットの容器それぞれが、選択された数Xの検体に使用するのに十分な量の前記選択された試薬それぞれを含み、

- 複数の位置がその上に画定されているデッキと、
それぞれが、前記デッキ上の前記位置の特定位置に取り外し可能に固定可能であり、かつ光学的可読識別子を有する複数のトレイと、
前記複数のトレイそれぞれの上にあり、かつそれぞれが選択された試薬を含むように構成されている少なくとも1つの試薬レセプタクルとを備える検体処理装置。 - 各光学的可読識別子が、第1組のアイコンの別個のアイコンであり、前記第1組のアイコンの前記各別個のアイコンが、前記デッキ上の前記位置の前記特定位置を視覚的に印付け、前記特定位置に、前記第1組のアイコンの前記別個のアイコンを含む前記トレイが、取り外し可能に固定可能である、請求項6に記載の検体処理装置。
- 各光学的可動識別子が、別個のバーコードであり、
前記位置の1つの位置に固定されたとき、前記トレイのバーコードを読むように構成されているバーコード読取装置と、
前記検体処理装置のための制御装置とをさらに備え、前記制御装置は、前記バーコード読取装置が、前記特定位置に固定可能なトレイに関連していない前記位置の特定位置でトレイのバーコードを読む場合に、エラーを示す、請求項6に記載の検体処理装置。 - 複数の位置がその上に画定され、かつ前記位置それぞれが、第1組のアイコンの別個のアイコンによって視覚的に印付けられているデッキと、

前記複数のトレイそれぞれの上にあり、かつそれぞれが、第2組のアイコンの別個のアイコンによって視覚的に印付けられている少なくとも1つの試薬レセプタクルと、
キットとを備え、該キットが、選択された試薬入りの複数の容器を含み、前記各容器が、前記容器内の前記選択された試薬が移される前記試薬レセプタクルの選択された試薬レセプタクルを視覚的に印付ける前記第2組のアイコンの前記別個のアイコンによって視覚的に印付けられる、検体処理装置。 - 検体処理装置は、Z個の検体の処理が可能であり、
前記キットが、S個のサブセットの容器を含み、各サブセットの容器が、選択された数Xの検体に使用するのに十分な量の前記選択された各試薬を含み、ここでXが、Z/Sにほぼ等しく、

前記ピペット内の前記試薬から選択された試薬を、前記試薬から前記選択された試薬を含む前記レセプタクルから、選択されたグループの前記管に移すように前記ヘッドを制御する制御装置とを備え、前記ヘッドが、前記選択されたグループの前記管以外のグループの前記管の上を、前記ピペットが、前記他のグループの管の上であり、かつ前記他のグループの管の間にある状態で通過する、検体処理装置。 - 前記ヘッドによって担持される前記ピペット間の前記均一な間隔が、調整可能であり、前記制御装置が、前記ピペットの間の前記間隔を調整するように前記ヘッドをさらに制御して、前記ピペットが上を通過するラックの均一な間隔に合わせる、請求項11に記載の検体処理装置。
