Abstract
【解決手段】有機多孔質の骨材に金属粉と有機物バインダーとからなるスラリーを塗着した金属多孔体原料を焼結させることにより金属多孔体を製造する方法において、前記金属多孔体原料を一酸化炭素と二酸化炭素とを含む雰囲気で650℃以下の温度で処理する脱脂工程と、脱脂工程後の金属多孔体原料を不活性雰囲気又は真空雰囲気で焼結温度以下で処理する脱炭素工程と、脱炭素工程後の金属多孔体原料を不活性雰囲気又は真空雰囲気又は水素雰囲気又は水素と不活性ガスとの混合ガス雰囲気からなる還元性雰囲気で前記脱炭素工程での温度以上かつ前記金属粉の融点以下の温度にて保持する焼結工程とを含んでいる。

Claims (5)
- 有機多孔質の骨材に金属粉と有機物バインダーとからなるスラリーを塗着した金属多孔体原料を焼結させることにより金属多孔体を製造する方法において、前記金属多孔体原料を一酸化炭素と二酸化炭素とを含む雰囲気で650℃以下の温度で処理する脱脂工程と、該脱脂工程後の金属多孔体原料を不活性雰囲気又は真空雰囲気で焼結温度以下で処理する脱炭素工程と、該脱炭素工程後の金属多孔体原料を不活性雰囲気又は真空雰囲気又は水素雰囲気又は水素と不活性ガスとの混合ガス雰囲気からなる還元性雰囲気で前記脱炭素工程での温度以上かつ前記金属粉の融点以下の温度にて保持する焼結工程とを含むことを特徴とする金属多孔体の製造方法。
- 前記脱脂工程の雰囲気に用いるガスは、炭化水素と空気との混合ガス又は炭化水素と酸素との混合ガス又は炭化水素と酸素と窒素との混合ガスを部分酸化反応させることにより得られた一酸化炭素と二酸化炭素とを含む発熱性変成ガスであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の金属多孔体の製造方法。
- 前記脱脂工程の雰囲気は、前記金属粉に対して酸化領域であり、炭素に対して還元領域であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の金属多孔体の製造方法
- 前記脱脂工程後の金属多孔体原料中の残留酸素が残留炭素に対して等量乃至過剰に存在することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1記載の金属多孔体の製造方法。
- 前記金属粉はクロムを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1記載の金属多孔体の製造方法。
