Abstract
【解決手段】排気ポート320に露出する電極812、813を有してシリンダヘッド300に設けられた放電装置810と、バルブヘッド522の背面に設けられたアンテナ820と、バルブステム521に設けられ、一端がアンテナに接続し、他端が絶縁体又は誘電体に覆われてバルブステムにおけるガイド孔340に嵌る部位などにある受電部521cまで延びて受電部に接続する電磁波伝送路830と、受電部に電磁波を供給する電磁波発生装置840とを備え、放電装置の電極で放電させ、電磁波発生装置から電磁波伝送路を介して供給した電磁波をアンテナから放射するように構成した燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置である。

Description
上記排気ポートに露出する電極を有して上記シリンダヘッドに設けられた放電装置と、
上記バルブヘッドの背面に設けられたアンテナと、
上記バルブステムに設けられ、一端が上記アンテナに接続し、他端が絶縁体又は誘電体に覆われてバルブステムにおけるガイド孔に嵌る部位又はそれよりも上記バルブヘッドから遠い部位にある受電部まで延びて当該受電部に接続する電磁波伝送路と、
この受電部に電磁波を供給する電磁波発生装置とを備え、
放電装置の電極で放電させ、電磁波発生装置から電磁波伝送路を介して供給した電磁波をアンテナから放射するように構成している。
上記アンテナが、バルブヘッドの背面においてバルブステムを取り囲むようにほぼC字形に形成され、このアンテナの一端が電磁波伝送路に接続していてもよい。
上記受電部が上記バルブステム外面に露出しており、
上記シリンダヘッドに設けられ、少なくとも上記バルブヘッドが排気ポートの燃焼室側の開口を閉じたときに上記受電部に近接する誘電体よりなる誘電部材と、
上記シリンダヘッドに設けられ、この誘電部材に対して上記バルブステムと反対側から近接する電気伝導体よりなる給電部材を備え、
この給電部材に電磁波発生装置から電磁波を供給するように構成してもよい。
上記シリンダヘッドには排気ポートからシリンダヘッド外壁まで貫通するバルブガイド装着孔が設けられ、このバルブガイド装着孔に誘電体よりなる筒形のバルブガイドが嵌まり、このバルブガイドの孔によってガイド孔が構成されており、
このバルブガイドにおける、少なくとも上記バルブヘッドが排気ポートの燃焼室側の開口を閉じたときに上記受電部に近接する部位が誘電部材になっていてもよい。
上記シリンダヘッドに、上記排気ポートにおける上記排気バルブ及び電極よりも排気ガス下流側で排気ポートを塞ぐように設けられ、排気ガスを通し且つ排気ガス上流側から排気ガス下流側へ進行する電磁波を減衰させる電磁波漏洩抑止部材を備えていてもよい。
上記アンテナに電磁波を供給したときに排気バルブのバルブヘッドの背面の周囲に生じる電磁波の電界強度が大となった部位の近傍に電極が位置づけられていてもよい。

Claims (6)
- 燃焼室に接続して排気通路の一部を構成するようにシリンダヘッドに設けられた排気ポートの燃焼室側の開口を、排気ポートからシリンダヘッドの外壁まで貫通するガイド孔にバルブステムが往復自在に嵌まった排気バルブにおける上記バルブステムの先端に設けられたバルブヘッドにより所定タイミングでもって開閉するようにした内燃機関に設けられる燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置であって、
上記排気ポートに露出する電極を有して上記シリンダヘッドに設けられた放電装置と、
上記バルブヘッドの背面に設けられたアンテナと、
上記バルブステムに設けられ、一端が上記アンテナに接続し、他端が絶縁体又は誘電体に覆われてバルブステムにおけるガイド孔に嵌る部位又はそれよりも上記バルブヘッドから遠い部位にある受電部まで延びて当該受電部に接続する電磁波伝送路と、
この受電部に電磁波を供給する電磁波発生装置とを備え、
放電装置の電極で放電させ、電磁波発生装置から電磁波伝送路を介して供給した電磁波をアンテナから放射するように構成した燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。 - 上記アンテナが、バルブヘッドの背面においてバルブステムを取り囲むようにほぼC字形に形成され、このアンテナの一端が電磁波伝送路に接続している請求項1の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。

上記シリンダヘッドに設けられ、少なくとも上記バルブヘッドが排気ポートの燃焼室側の開口を閉じたときに上記受電部に近接する誘電体よりなる誘電部材と、
上記シリンダヘッドに設けられ、この誘電部材に対して上記バルブステムと反対側から近接する電気伝導体よりなる給電部材を備え、
この給電部材に電磁波発生装置から電磁波を供給するように構成した請求項1又は請求項2の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。 - 上記シリンダヘッドには排気ポートからシリンダヘッド外壁まで貫通するバルブガイド装着孔が設けられ、このバルブガイド装着孔に誘電体よりなる筒形のバルブガイドが嵌まり、このバルブガイドの孔によってガイド孔が構成されており、
このバルブガイドにおける、少なくとも上記バルブヘッドが排気ポートの燃焼室側の開口を閉じたときに上記受電部に近接する部位が誘電部材になっている請求項3の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。 - 請求項1の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置において、さらに、
上記シリンダヘッドに、上記排気ポートにおける上記排気バルブ及び電極よりも排気ガス下流側で排気ポートを塞ぐように設けられ、排気ガスを通し且つ排気ガス上流側から排気ガス下流側へ進行する電磁波を減衰させる電磁波漏洩抑止部材を備えている請求項1ないし請求項4のうちいずれか1項の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。 - 上記アンテナに電磁波を供給したときに排気バルブのバルブヘッドの背面の周囲に生じる電磁波の電界強度が大となった部位の近傍に電極が位置づけられている請求項1ないし請求項5のうちいずれか1項の燃焼室直下流の排気ガス後処理装置。
