Abstract
【解決手段】回転駆動装置1の切替機構6は、モータの中空ロータ3と常に一体回転している第1連結用スリーブ61と、遊星歯車減速機構5の遊星キャリア53と常に一体回転している第2連結用スリーブ62とが、軸受け63を介して相対回転自在の状態で連結され、第1連結用スリーブ61に太陽歯車51が形成された構成となっている。切替機構6をスライドさせることにより出力軸4を高速回転および低速回転の状態に切り替えることができる。遊星歯車減速機構5の全体をスライドさせて切り替える場合に比べて、スライドする部位が小さくて済み、そのための移動スペースも少なくて済むので、装置の小型化、コンパクト化に有利である。

中空ロータを備えたモータと、
前記中空ロータの中空部を回転自在の状態で同軸状に貫通している出力軸と、
前記中空ロータの回転を減速して前記出力軸に伝達するための遊星歯車減速機構と、
前記出力軸の外周面に沿ってその中心軸線方向における高速モード位置および低速モード位置にスライド可能な切替機構とを有し、
前記切替機構は、外周面に前記遊星歯車減速機構の太陽歯車が形成されている第1連結用スリーブと、当該第1連結用スリーブに対して、軸受けを介して、回転自在の状態で同軸状に取り付けられている第2連結用スリーブとを備え、
前記高速モード位置では、前記第1連結用スリーブを介して前記出力軸および前記中空ロータが一体回転するように直結状態になり、
前記低速モード位置では、前記第1連結用スリーブと前記出力軸の連結が解除され、当該第1連結用スリーブが前記遊星歯車減速機構の遊星歯車に連結され、前記第2連結用スリーブが前記遊星歯車減速機構の減速回転出力要素である遊星キャリアに連結され、前記中空ロータの回転が前記遊星歯車減速機構を介して減速されて前記出力軸に伝達されることを特徴としている。

前記出力軸の外周面に沿ってその中心軸線方向における高速モード位置および低速モード位置にスライド可能であり、かつ、当該出力軸に一体回転するように連結されている切替用スリーブとを有し、
前記遊星歯車減速機構の太陽歯車は前記中空ロータと一体回転するように配置されており、
前記切替用スリーブは、前記高速モード位置においてのみ前記中空ロータに対して一体回転するように連結される第1連結部と、前記低速モード位置においてのみ前記遊星歯車減速機構の減速出力回転要素である遊星キャリアに対して一体回転するように連結される第2連結部とを備えていることを特徴としている。
図1は本発明の実施の形態1に係る切替式回転駆動装置の切替機構の部分を中心に示す概略構成図である。この図において、上半部分は切替機構が高速モード位置にある状態を示し、下半部分は切替機構が低速モード位置にある状態を示す。
例えば、実施の形態1の切替式回転駆動機構を工作機械のスピンドル駆動装置に適用する場合には、スピンドルハウジング(2)内に組み込まれている中空ロータ(3)を備えたスピンドルモータ(図示せず)と、中空ロータ(3)の中空部を同軸状態に回転自在に貫通して延びているスピンドル軸(4)と、スピンドル軸(4)の先端に直接あるいは工具取り付け具を介して取り付けた切削工具などの加工工具(図示せず)と、スピンドル軸(4)における中空ロータ(3)の後端(3a)から後方に突出している部分に配置されている遊星歯車減速機構(5)と、スピンドル軸(4)を高速回転および低速回転の状態に切り替える切替機構(6)とを有する構成とされる。
図2は本発明を適用した実施の形態2に係る切替式回転駆動装置の切替機構の部分を示す概略構成図である。この図において、上半部分は切替用スリーブが高速モード位置にある状態を示し、下半部分は切替用スリーブが低速モード位置にある状態を示す。

Claims (5)
- 中空ロータを備えたモータと、
前記中空ロータの中空部を回転自在の状態で同軸状に貫通している出力軸と、
前記中空ロータの回転を減速して前記出力軸に伝達するための遊星歯車減速機構と、
前記出力軸の外周面に沿ってその中心軸線方向における高速モード位置および低速モード位置にスライド可能な切替機構とを有し、
前記切替機構は、第1連結用スリーブおよび第2連結用スリーブを備え、これら第1および第2連結用スリーブは軸受けを介して相対回転自在の状態で同軸状態に連結され、前記第1連結用スリーブの外周面には前記遊星歯車減速機構の太陽歯車が形成されており、
前記高速モード位置では、前記第1連結用スリーブを介して前記出力軸および前記中空ロータが一体回転するように直結状態になり、
前記低速モード位置では、前記第1連結用スリーブと前記出力軸の連結が解除され、当該第1連結用スリーブの前記太陽歯車が前記遊星歯車減速機構の遊星歯車に連結され、前記第2連結用スリーブが前記遊星歯車減速機構の減速回転出力要素である遊星キャリアに連結され、前記中空ロータの回転が前記遊星歯車減速機構を介して減速されて前記出力軸に伝達されることを特徴とする切替式回転駆動装置。 - 請求項1に記載の切替式回転駆動装置において、
前記第1連結用スリーブは、前記中空ロータに対して、前記中心軸線方向にスライド可能な状態で一体回転するように連結されており、
前記第1連結用スリーブの円形内周面には第1スプライン溝が形成されており、
前記出力軸の外周面には第1スプラインが形成されており、
前記高速モード位置では、前記第1スプライン溝と前記第1スプラインが連結され、前記低速モード位置では、前記第1スプライン溝と前記第1スプラインの連結が解除されることを特徴とする切替式回転駆動装置。 - 請求項2に記載の切替式回転駆動装置において、
前記第2連結用スリーブは、前記遊星キャリアに対して、前記中心軸線方向にスライド可能な状態で一体回転するように連結されており、
前記第2連結用スリーブの円形内周面には第2スプライン溝が形成されており、
前記出力軸の外周面には第2スプラインが形成されており、
前記高速モード位置では、前記第2スプライン溝と前記第2スプラインの連結が解除され、前記低速モード位置では、前記第2スプライン溝と前記第2スプラインが連結されることを特徴とする切替式回転駆動装置。 - 請求項3に記載の切替式回転駆動装置において、
前記出力軸は、前記中空ロータの後端から後方に突出しており、
当該後端に対して後側に隣接した位置に、前記出力軸を取り囲む状態に前記遊星歯車減速機構の前記遊星歯車が配置されており、
前記高速モード位置では、前記第1連結用スリーブの前記太陽歯車が前記中空ロータの内部に隠れており、前記低速モード位置では、前記太陽歯車が前記中空ロータの後端から後方に露出して前記遊星歯車に噛み合うことを特徴とする切替式回転駆動装置。 - 中空ロータを備えたモータと、
前記中空ロータの中空部を回転自在の状態で同軸状に貫通している出力軸と、
前記中空ロータの回転を減速して前記出力軸に伝達するための遊星歯車減速機構と、
前記出力軸の外周面に沿ってその中心軸線方向における高速モード位置および低速モード位置にスライド可能であると共に、当該出力に一体回転するように連結されている切替用スリーブとを有し、
前記遊星歯車減速機構の太陽歯車は前記中空ロータと一体回転するように配置されており、
前記切替用スリーブは、前記高速モード位置においてのみ前記中空ロータに対して一体回転するように連結される第1連結部と、前記低速モード位置においてのみ前記遊星歯車減速機構の減速出力回転要素である遊星キャリアに一体回転するように連結される第2連結部とを備えていることを特徴とする切替式回転駆動装置。
