Abstract

Claims (10)
- グラファイトるつぼ(10)の内部(12)に少なくとも第1保護層(16)を形成した、高反応性合金用物品。
- さらに、第1保護層(16)上に少なくとも第2保護層(18)を形成した、請求項1記載の物品。
- 少なくとも第1保護層(16)を有するグラファイトるつぼ(10)を、チタン、ニオブ、ニッケル、ハフニウム、イリジウム及びレニウムからなる群から選択される元素を含む高反応性合金の溶融に用いる、請求項1又は請求項2記載の物品。
- 第1保護層(16)が厚さ約0.005mm〜約2mmの箔内張を含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の物品。
- 第1保護層(16)が炭化物皮膜を含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の物品。
- 第1保護層(16)が箔内張を含み、第2保護層(18)が炭化物皮膜を含む、請求項2記載の物品。
- 第1保護層(16)が炭化物皮膜を含み、第2保護層(18)が箔内張を含む、請求項2記載の物品。
- 前記箔内張がニオブ、タンタル、タングステン及びモリブデンからなる群から選択される高融点合金元素から作成された、請求項4、請求項6又は請求項7記載の物品。
- 前記炭化物皮膜が、ニオブ、タンタル、タングステン及びモリブデンからなる群から選択される高融点合金元素をるつぼの内部に付着し、この高融点合金元素を炭化雰囲気中で熱処理することにより形成された、請求項5乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の物品。
- 前記箔内張が高反応性合金中のもっとも高い融点を有する高融点合金元素から作成された、請求項4、請求項6、請求項7又は請求項8記載の物品。
