Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明に係る中空構造体の製造方法は、炭化水素重合体、又は前記重合体に窒素含有基、ケイ素含有基、酸素含有基、リン含有基若しくは硫黄含有基を有する重合体からなる構造体にフッ素を含む処理ガスを所定条件下で接触させ、該構造体の外表面から内部に向かって該処理ガスを浸透させることにより、構造体の中心部分を除きフッ化処理するフッ化処理工程と、前記未フッ化処理状態にある中心部分を除去する除去工程を含むことを特徴とする。

Description
先ず、図1に示すように、環状オレフィン重合体(商品名;ゼオノア1060、日本ゼオン社製)からなる繊維状の構造体4を反応容器3に導入し、真空ライン7の弁を開栓して、反応容器3内が1Pa以下になるまで減圧した。
中空構造体を10mm角にカットし、走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)にてカット面を観察したところ中空構造体であった(図2参照)。また膜厚はおよそ1.0μmであった。
先ず、オレフィン重合体(ポリプロピレン SLFD50125:NKK社製)からなる繊維状の構造体4を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ化処理を行った。
中空構造体の厚み及び表面分析は、実施例1と同様にして行った。その結果、膜厚はおよそ1.0μmであった(図4参照)。また、表面分析については、フッ化処理直後の表面組成と中空構造体の表面組成がほぼ同様であり、両者ともにフッ化炭化水素重合体であることが分かった(図5参照)。更に、後述の方法により測定した中空率は、60%であった。
先ず、前記実施例2と同様にして、構造体のフッ化処理を行った。次に、構造体を20mm角にカットして、窒素ガス雰囲気中で昇温速度2.5℃/minで300℃まで上昇させた。更に、300℃、1時間の焼成を電気炉にて行い、その後室温まで冷却させた。これにより、本実施例3に係る中空構造体を作製した。
中空構造体の厚み及び表面分析は、実施例1と同様にして行った。その結果、膜厚はおよそ1μmであった(図6参照)。また、表面分析については、フッ化処理直後の表面組成と中空構造体の表面組成がほぼ同様であり、両者ともにフッ化炭化水素重合体であることが分かった(図7参照)。更に、後述の方法により測定した中空率は、70%であった。
前記フッ化処理工程において、フッ素ガスを流し続けた状態で、30℃で1時間保持した後、昇温速度0.3℃/minで90℃まで昇温させ、1時間保持したこと以外は実施例1と同様にしてフッ化処理を行った。
中空構造体の厚み及び表面分析は、実施例1と同様にして行った。その結果、実施例4で作製した中空構造体の膜厚は3.0μmであった(図8(a)参照)。実施例1で作製した中空構造体(図8(b)参照)と比較すると、本実施例の中空構造体は約2/5の中空率であった。更に、後述の方法により測定した本実施例の中空構造体の中空率は、20%であった。
ポリエステル(商品名;旭化成エルタス(エステル)、旭化成社製)からなる繊維状の構造体4を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ化処理を行った。
中空構造体の厚み及び表面分析は、実施例1と同様にして行った。その結果、実施例5で作製した中空構造体の膜厚は1.0μmであった(図9参照)。実施例1で作製した中空構造体と比較すると、本実施例の中空構造体は同様の中空率であった。また、表面分析については、フッ化処理直後の表面組成と中空構造体の表面組成がほぼ同様であり、両者ともにフッ化炭化水素重合体であることが分かった(図10参照)。更に、後述の方法により測定した本実施例の中空構造体の中空率は、50%であった。
中空構造体の中空率の測定は、以下の通りにして行った。即ち、該中空構造体の横断面形状を電子顕微鏡(倍率5000倍)で撮影し、写真をトレースして中空部を含む紡績糸全体に相当する部分を切り取り、その質量(A)を測定した。測定後、さらに中空部に相当する部分を切り取ってその質量(B)を測定した。この作業を10本のサンプルについて行い、A、Bの平均値を算出し、それらの値を下記式に代入し、中空構造体の中空率とした。

Claims (10)
- 炭化水素重合体、又は前記重合体に窒素含有基、ケイ素含有基、酸素含有基、リン含有基若しくは硫黄含有基を有する重合体からなる構造体にフッ素を含む処理ガスを所定条件下で接触させ、該構造体の外表面から内部に向かって該処理ガスを浸透させることにより、構造体の中心部分を除きフッ化処理するフッ化処理工程と、
前記未フッ化処理状態にある中心部分を除去する除去工程を含むことを特徴とする中空構造体の製造方法。 - 前記重合体からなる構造体の一部に、前記フッ化処理によるフッ素化を防止する為のマスキングを行う工程、又は前記フッ素化処理後の構造体に於いて、未フッ化処理状態にある中心部分を露出させる工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記除去工程は、前記重合体が溶解性を示し、かつ、溶媒温度が0〜250℃の範囲内にある溶媒を、前記中心部分の露出した部分に接触させることにより、該中心部分を溶解除去することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記除去工程は、不活性ガス雰囲気下に於いて50〜400℃の範囲内で加熱しながら行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記フッ化処理工程の前に、前記重合体からなる構造体を、不活性ガス雰囲気下に於いて所定条件下で加熱する前処理工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記フッ化処理工程直後の前記構造体を、所定条件下で加熱する後処理工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記処理ガスとして、フッ化水素(HF)、フッ素(F2)、三フッ化塩素(ClF3)、四フッ化硫黄(SF4)、三フッ化ホウ素(BF3)、三フッ化窒素(NF3)、及びフッ化カルボニル(COF2)からなる群より選択される少なくとも何れか1種のガス、又は前記ガスを不活性ガスで希釈したものを使用することを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 前記炭化水素重合体が、オレフィン重合体、環状オレフィン重合体、芳香族不飽和炭化水素重合体、極性基含有重合体、又はこれら2種類以上を含む共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の中空構造体の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか1項に記載の中空構造体の製造方法により得られる中空構造体であって、
開口状の中空構造を有し、フッ化炭化水素重合体、フッ化炭素重合体、又は前記重合体に窒素含有基、ケイ素含有基、酸素含有基、リン含有基若しくは硫黄含有基を有する重合体からなることを特徴とする中空構造体。 - 中空率は0.1〜99%の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の中空構造体。
