Abstract
【解決手段】第一燃料供給手段7から供給される追加燃料はSトラップ装置4からSOXが放出されない量とされ、第一燃料供給手段により供給された追加燃料の再生処理にとっての不足分を補うためにNOX吸蔵還元触媒装置5とパティキュレートフィルタ6との間の排気系には第二燃料供給手段8が設けられている。

Claims (3)
- NOX吸蔵還元触媒装置の下流側にはパティキュレートフィルタが配置され、前記NOX吸蔵還元触媒装置の上流側にSトラップ装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記パティキュレートフィルタの再生処理のための追加燃料を前記Sトラップ装置の上流側の排気系又は気筒内へ供給するための第一燃料供給手段が設けられ、前記第一燃料供給手段から供給される前記追加燃料は前記Sトラップ装置からSOXが放出されない量とされ、前記第一燃料供給手段により供給された前記追加燃料の前記再生処理にとっての不足分を補うために前記NOX吸蔵還元触媒装置と前記パティキュレートフィルタとの間の排気系には第二燃料供給手段が設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 機関減速時には、前記第二燃料供給手段による追加燃料の供給を停止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記Sトラップ装置は、SOXを放出させることが意図されておらず、必要に応じて交換されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
