を含む、乳化凝集トナー粒子の製造方法が提供される。
前記静電画像を現像して、前記光導電性部材の表面上に乳化凝集トナー粒子を付与することによって可視画像を形成することと、
前記可視画像を支持体に転写し、かつ前記可視画像を、定着部材によって前記支持体に定着させることと、
を含む画像形成方法であって、
前記乳化凝集トナー粒子が、バインダー樹脂、ワックス及び着色剤を含有し、
前記トナー粒子の表面上の全ての元素の合計原子百分率を100として、前記トナー粒子の前記表面上の酸素原子百分率が15未満であり、かつ
前記定着部材が、硬質定着部材であるか、又は支持体と、フルオロポリマーを含む外側層とを含むヒューザ−部材である、
画像形成方法が提供される。
EA法により作製されたポリエステルトナー粒子は、米国特許番号5,593,807号、同5,290,654号、同5,308,734号、及び同5,370,963号(これらの開示内容は完全に本願明細書に組み込まれる)等の多くの文献に開示されている。

Claims (3)
- ワックス、バインダー樹脂及び着色剤を含有するトナー粒子であって、前記トナー粒子の表面上の全ての元素の合計原子百分率を100として、前記トナー粒子の表面上の酸素原子百分率が15未満である、トナー粒子。
- バインダー樹脂、ワックス及び着色剤を混合することと、
粒子を、約3ミクロン〜約20ミクロンのサイズにまで凝集させることと、
前記粒子の前記凝集を停止することと、
前記粒子を合一して、トナー粒子を形成することと、
前記トナー粒子の表面上の酸素原子百分率を測定し、かつ前記トナー粒子の表面上の前記酸素原子百分率を制御することにより、前記トナー粒子の前記表面上の全ての元素の合計原子百分率を100として、前記トナー粒子の前記表面上の酸素原子百分率を15未満にすることと、
を含む、乳化凝集トナー粒子の製造方法。 - 光導電性部材上に静電画像を形成することと、
前記静電画像を現像して、前記光導電性部材の表面上に乳化凝集トナー粒子を付与することによって可視画像を形成することと、
前記可視画像を支持体に転写し、かつ前記可視画像を、定着部材によって前記支持体に定着させることと、
を含む画像形成方法であって、
前記エマルジョン凝集トナー粒子が、バインダー樹脂、ワックス及び着色剤を含有し、
前記トナー粒子の表面上の全ての元素の合計原子百分率を100として、前記トナー粒子の前記表面上の酸素原子百分率が15未満であり、かつ
