Claims (17)
- 触媒体(1)の縦軸(2)に平行に延在する溝部(4)群とそれらの溝部(4)の間に延在するブリッジ部(5)群を外周面(3)上に備えた円筒形状の触媒体であり、前記溝部(4)およびそれらの溝部(4)の間に延在しているブリッジ部(5)がその断面において部分円の形状を有しており、前記ブリッジ部(5)の部分円の半径(7)が前記溝部(4)の部分円の半径(6)とは異なったものとなることを特徴とする触媒体。
- ブリッジ部(5)の部分円の半径(7)が溝部(4)の部分円の半径(6)よりも大きく選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の触媒体。
- 触媒体(1)はこの触媒体(1)の縦軸(2)に沿って延在する中央通路(8)を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の触媒体。
- 中央通路(8)は円形の断面を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の触媒体。
- 触媒体(1)はこの触媒体(1)の縦軸(2)に平行であるがそれに対して偏心である副通路(10)を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の触媒体。
- 副通路(10)は円形の断面を有することを特徴とする請求項5記載の触媒体。
- 副通路(10)の数は7本超、特に8本超、特に好適には9本超に選択することを特徴とする請求項5または6記載の触媒体。

- 触媒体の直径(17)と縦軸方向の長さの比は0.9ないし1.5となるように選択することを特徴とする請求項1ないし12のいずれかに記載の触媒体。
- 触媒体(1)は700N超の耐側圧強度を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし13のいずれかに記載の触媒体。
- 触媒体(1)はいずれも酸化金属で計算して実質的に:
NiO 10−20重量%と
CaO 10−20重量%と
Al2O3 100重量%までの残余分
から形成することを特徴とする請求項1ないし14のいずれかに記載の触媒体。 - 触媒体(1)中のNaならびにSiO2の含有率は0.05重量%未満とすることを特徴とする請求項1ないし15のいずれかに記載の触媒体。
- 炭化水素の水蒸気改質への請求項18または19記載の触媒体の適用方法。
