図1は、本発明に基づくエアバッグ構成ユニットを、接続されたディフューザーケーシング及び該ディフューザーケーシング内に組み付けられたガス発生器と一緒に示す部分断面図であり、
図2は、本発明に基づき形成された取り付けリングの実施例の拡大断面図であり、
図3は、図2の取り付けリングの斜視図である。
Claims (9)
- 自動車の乗員保護装置のためのエアバッグ構成ユニットであって、エアバッグケーシング(1)に受容されていてガス発生器(2)からのガスで満たされるべきエアバッグ、並びに前記エアバッグケーシングに配置されかつ該エアバッグケーシングとガス流過開口部を介して結合されているディフューザーケーシング(3)を備えており、該ディフューザーケーシング内に組み込み開口部(4)から前記ガス発生器(2)を挿入して保持装置によって固定してある形式のものにおいて、保持装置は、ディフューザーケーシング壁(8)及びガス発生器壁(9)で画成された中間室(5)内に配置されていて、前記ガス発生器(2)を環状に取り囲む取り付けリング(7)から成っており、前記中間室(5)は、前記取り付けリング(7)に設けられたシール装置(6)を用いて気密に密閉されており、前記取り付けリング(7)は、ディフューザーケーシング壁(8)に形状結合によって固定されていることを特徴とする、エアバッグ構成ユニット。
- ディフューザーケーシング壁(8)への取り付けリング(7)の形状結合による固定は、スナップ結合装置を用いて行われている請求項1に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- スナップ結合装置は、取り付けリング(7)の外周に配置された半径方向の弾性的な複数の保持舌片(11)を含んでおり、該保持舌片は取り付けリング(7)の組み付け状態で、ディフューザーケーシング壁(8)に設けられた対応する切欠き(10)内に係合している請求項2に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- スナップ結合装置は、取り付けリング(7)の外周に配置された半径方向の弾性的な4つの保持舌片(11)を含んでいる請求項3に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- シール装置(6)は、取り付けリング(7)に設けられた環状の少なくとも2つのシールリップ(12,13)を含んでおり、該シールリップはシール装置(6)が実質的にV字形の断面を成すように互いに配置されていて、それぞれシール装置の断面V字形の各脚部を形成しており、該脚部の互いに結合された端部は、ディフューザーケーシング(3)の組み込み開口部に向けられている請求項1に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- 取り付けリング(7)は、ガス発生器(2)の組み付け状態で該ガス発生器(2)の、ディフューザーケーシング(3)の組み込み開口部(4)に向かう軸線方向移動の制限のためのストッパ装置を含んでいる請求項1に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- ストッパ装置は弾性的な複数のストッパ舌片(14)を有しており、該ストッパ舌片(14)は、取り付けリング(7)の内周に該内周から突出するように配置されている請求項6に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- 取り付けリング(7)はプラスチックから形成されている請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
- 取り付けリング(7)を形成するプラスチックは、繊維強化されている請求項8に記載のエアバッグ構成ユニット。
