Claims (27)
- 稀釈供給流を受けるための稀釈区画と濃縮供給流を受けかつ濃縮流出流を送出するための濃縮区画とを含む、EDI生成物流を生産するための電気脱イオンユニットと、
前記電気脱イオンユニットの濃縮流出流から生物汚損物質を除去してろ過濃縮流出流を生成するための濃縮ろ過膜と、を含み、
前記電気脱イオンユニットの濃縮区画が、前記ろ過濃縮流出流に流体接続される、
浄水システム。 - 前記生物汚損物質が、バクテリア、原生生物、原虫、藻類、菌類、酵母、花粉、多細胞性生命体の構成細胞、生命体の断片、細胞小器官、細胞壁、生命体内に見られる化合物、生命体によって生成された化合物、タンパク質、タンパク質断片、多糖類、セルロース、及び約150ダルトンよりも大きいか又はそれに等しい分子量を有する炭素含有分子からなる群から選択される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮ろ過膜が、十字流構成を有する濃縮ろ過ユニット内に組み込まれる、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮ろ過膜が、プラグフロー構成を有する濃縮ろ過ユニット内に組み込まれる、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮区画からの前記濃縮流出流の一部分をサイド透過流とサイド廃棄流とに分離することができる側流ろ過膜と、
前記サイド廃棄流の実質的に全てを受けるための廃液ユニットと、をさらに含み、
前記濃縮ろ過膜が、前記サイド透過流を受けることができる、
請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記濃縮ろ過膜からの前記ろ過濃縮流出流の一部分をサイド透過流とサイド廃棄流とに分離することができる側流ろ過膜と、
前記サイド廃棄流の実質的に全てを受けるための廃液ユニットと、をさらに含み、
前記濃縮区画が、前記サイド透過流を受けることができる、
請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記側流ろ過膜が、精密ろ過膜、限外ろ過膜、ナノろ過膜又は逆浸透膜の少なくとも1つから選択された膜を含む、請求項6記載のシステム。
- 補給流供給源をさらに含み、
前記濃縮区画が、前記補給流供給源から補給流を受けることができ、
前記EDI生成物流が、前記稀釈供給流及び補給流の総流量の97%よりも大きいか又はそれに等しい流量を有することができる、
請求項6記載のシステム。 - 補給流供給源をさらに含み、
前記濃縮ろ過膜が、前記補給流供給源から補給流を受けることができ、
前記EDI生成物流が、前記稀釈供給流及び補給流の総流量の97%よりも大きいか又はそれに等しい流量を有することができる、
請求項6記載のシステム。 - 前記稀釈区画と前記濃縮区画との間を流れる物質をろ過するための区画分離膜をさらに含み、
前記区画分離膜が、多くても年間当たり1回の清浄化を必要とする、
請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記濃縮ろ過膜が、精密ろ過膜、限外ろ過膜又はナノろ過膜の少なくとも1つから選択された膜を含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つ内にスケール防止剤を注入するためのスケール防止剤注入装置、
前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つ内に生物防止剤を注入するための生物防止剤注入装置、
前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つ内にアルカリ金属水酸化物を注入するためのアルカリ金属水酸化物注入装置、又は
前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つ内に塩を注入するための塩注入装置、
の少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つから溶解又は混入気体を分離するための気体透過膜をさらに含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つを照射するための紫外線装置をさらに含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つを軟水化するためのイオン交換ユニットをさらに含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記濃縮ろ過膜の表面を横切る前記濃縮流出流の流量を増加させるための再循環ポンプをさらに含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記電気脱イオンユニットが、向流式電気脱イオンユニットを含む、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 稀釈供給流を受けるための稀釈区画と濃縮供給流を受けかつ濃縮流出流を送出するための濃縮区画とを含み、EDI生成物流を生産するための電気脱イオンユニットと、
前記濃縮流出流から生物汚損物質を除去してろ過濃縮流出流を生成するための濃縮ろ過膜と、
補給流供給源と、
廃液ユニットと、を含み、
前記濃縮区画が、前記補給流供給源から補給流を受けることができ、
前記廃液ユニットが、前記濃縮区画から抽出流を受けることができ、
前記濃縮区画が、前記ろ過濃縮流出流を受けることができる、
浄水システム。 - 前記濃縮ろ過膜が、十字流構成を有する濃縮ろ過ユニット内に組み込まれる、請求項18記載のシステム。
- 逆浸透膜を含みかつ前記ろ過濃縮流出流の一部分をサイド透過流及びサイド廃棄流に分離することができる側流ろ過膜をさらに含み、
前記廃液ユニットが、前記サイド廃棄流の実質的に全てを受けることができ、
前記濃縮区画が、前記サイド透過流を受けることができる、
請求項18記載のシステム。 - 水を浄化する方法であって、
電気脱イオンユニットを用いてEDI生成物流及び濃縮流出流を生成する段階と、
前記濃縮流出流から生物汚損物質を除去してろ過濃縮流出流を生成する段階と、
前記ろ過濃縮流出流を前記電気脱イオンユニットの濃縮区画に供給する段階と、
を含む方法。 - 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つの一部分から不純物を除去してサイド透過流を生成する段階と、
前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つに前記サイド透過流を供給する段階と、
をさらに含む、請求項21記載の方法。 - 前記EDI生成物流が、稀釈供給流の流量の97%よりも大きいか又はそれに等しい流量を有する、請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つに補給流を供給する段階をさらに含む、請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記除去した生物汚損物質を廃液ユニットに排出する段階をさらに含む、請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記濃縮流出流又はろ過濃縮流出流の少なくとも1つから抽出流を取り出す段階と、
前記抽出流を前記廃液ユニットに排出する段階と、
をさらに含む、請求項21記載の方法。 - 稀釈供給流の流量の90%よりも大きいか又はそれに等しい、前記EDI生成物流の流量を選択する段階をさらに含む、請求項21記載の方法。
