Abstract
【解決手段】 水素、窒素、酸素、二酸化炭素、一酸化炭素、メタン及び/又は他の炭化水素を主な成分とする酸素含有ガス流から水素を分離する。水素分離用の圧力スイング吸着プロセスに先立ち、酸素含有ガス流を酸素熱転化プロセスで処理することにより酸素含有ガス流中の酸素を水に熱転化させる。

Claims (9)
- 水素、窒素、酸素、二酸化炭素、一酸化炭素、メタン及び/又はその他の炭化水素を主な成分とする酸素含有ガス流から水素を分離する方法において、触媒を使用することなく前記酸素含有ガス流中の酸素を熱転化させる酸素熱転化プロセスを水素分離用の圧力スイング吸着プロセスに組み合わせ、この圧力スイング吸着プロセスを前記酸素熱転化プロセスの後に実行することを特徴とする水素分離方法。
- 酸素含有量が1容量%を超える酸素含有ガス流を前記圧力スイング吸着プロセスによって安全に処理することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 酸素熱転化プロセスを300℃〜500℃の温度で実行することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 酸素熱転化プロセスの前に前記酸素含有ガス流を予熱することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記酸素含有ガス流の予熱を熱交換器によって行い、且つ酸素熱転化プロセス後のガス流との向流熱交換によって行うことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力スイング吸着プロセスで分離された水素を、残留酸素除去用の触媒反応プロセスで更に処理することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 水素、窒素、酸素、二酸化炭素、一酸化炭素、メタン及び/又は他のその炭化水素を主な成分とする酸素含有ガス流から水素を分離する装置において、圧力スイング吸着プロセスによって水素を分離する装置の上流側に前記酸素含有ガス流を加熱する反応器が配置されていることを特徴とする水素分離装置。
- 前記反応器が温度300℃〜500℃の加熱能力を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 圧力スイング吸着プロセスによって水素を分離する装置と前記反応器との間に熱交換器が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の装置。
