Abstract
【解決手段】 有底円筒状の撹拌槽と、該撹拌槽内に同心又は略同心で配設された回転軸と、撹拌槽の径方向及び上下方向に延びるよう回転軸に連設され、下端縁が槽底壁面に沿った平板状のボトム翼と、を備えた撹拌装置において、前記ボトム翼に対して一方の面側と他方の面側とを連通させる開口が形成され、ボトム翼の翼高hとボトム翼の翼径dとの比(h/d)が、0.4≦h/dに設定されるとともに、ボトム翼の回転方向から見た投影面積に対する前記開口の開口面積の比率が、10〜60%に設定されていることを特徴とする。

・バッフル:あり(縦寸法(液面から下方に向けての寸法):310mm、横寸法:24.8mmのプレートをバッフルとして周方向に間隔をあけて4つ配置)
・液量:27.3リットル
・液種:水
・粘度:1cp
・撹拌動力:0.1kw/m3
ヨウ素還元脱色法を用い、撹拌開始から滞留部分(未撹拌領域)が消滅するまでの撹拌時間を測定した。すなわち、撹拌槽1内に液をヨウ素にて赤褐色に着色し、脱色液を投入してから撹拌を行うことで脱色の進み具合を観察し、脱色が完了するまでの時間を測定した。この方法は、例えば、Mixing(1975) Shinji NAGATA John Wiley & Sons, P187, 4.3.1 Method of Measuring Mixer Performanceや、Handbook of Industrial Mixing, John Wiley & Suns, P167, 4-4.3 Approximate Mixing Time Measurement with Calorimetric methodsにも開示されている周知の方法である。

・バッフル:あり(縦寸法(液面から下方に向けての寸法):310mm、横寸法:24.8mmのプレートをバッフルとして周方向に間隔をあけて4つ配置)
・液量:27.3リットル
・液種:水
・粘度:1cp
・撹拌動力:0.1kw/m3
実施例1と同様、ヨウ素還元脱色法を用い、撹拌開始から滞留部分(未撹拌領域)が消滅するまでの混合時間を測定した。
Claims (2)
- 有底円筒状の撹拌槽と、該撹拌槽内に同心又は略同心で配設された回転軸と、撹拌槽の径方向及び上下方向に延びるよう回転軸に連設され、下端縁が撹拌槽の底壁面に沿ったプレート状のボトム翼とを備えた撹拌装置において、前記ボトム翼に対して一方の面側と他方の面側とを連通させる開口が形成され、ボトム翼の翼高hとボトム翼の翼径dとの比(h/d)が、0.4≦h/dに設定されるとともに、ボトム翼の回転方向から見た投影面積に対する前記開口の開口面積の比率が、10〜60%に設定されていることを特徴とする撹拌装置。
- 前記開口は、ボトム翼の上端縁に対して上辺及び下辺が平行な直線状に形成されるとともに、ボトム翼の側端縁に対して両側辺が平行な直線状に形成されて略矩形状をなし、ボトム翼の上端縁から上辺までの距離、及び、ボトム翼の側端縁から該側端縁側の側辺までの距離は、同一距離bに設定されるとともに、翼径dを基準にして、0.04d≦b≦0.11dに設定されている請求項1記載の撹拌装置。
