Abstract
【解決手段】ハイブリッド自動車20において、クラッチC0による駆動源要素接続を解除した状態でエンジン22を停止させ、変速機60によりモータMG1およびMG2の一方のみを駆動軸67に連結すると共に当該モータMG1およびMG2の一方に動力を出力させているときにエンジン22を始動させる場合、現変速比γに対応しておらず駆動軸67に連結されていないモータMG1およびMG2の他方の回転数を駆動源要素接続が可能となるように調整し、クラッチC0を繋ぐと共にモータMG1またはMG2によりエンジン22をクランキングする。

前記第1および第2電動機のそれぞれと電力をやり取り可能な蓄電手段と、
前記第1電動機の回転軸に接続される第1要素と前記第2電動機の回転軸に接続される第2要素と前記内燃機関の機関軸に接続される第3要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された動力分配統合機構と、
前記第1電動機と前記第1要素との接続、前記第2電動機と前記第2要素との接続および前記内燃機関と前記第3要素との接続の何れかである駆動源要素接続と該駆動源要素接続の解除とを実行可能な接続断接手段と、
前記第1電動機の前記回転軸と前記第2電動機の前記回転軸との何れか一方または双方を前記駆動軸に選択的に連結可能であると共に、前記第1電動機からの動力と前記第2電動機からの動力とをそれぞれ所定の変速比で前記駆動軸に伝達することができる変速伝達手段と、

前記駆動源要素接続を解除した状態で前記内燃機関を停止させ、前記変速伝達手段により前記第1および第2電動機の一方のみを前記駆動軸に連結すると共に該第1および第2電動機の一方に動力を出力させているときに、前記内燃機関を始動させる機関始動条件が成立した場合には、前記第1および第2電動機の他方の回転数を前記駆動源要素接続が可能となるように調整する回転数調整処理と、前記駆動源要素接続と、前記第1または第2電動機により前記内燃機関をクランキングする機関始動処理とを伴って、前記設定された要求動力に基づく動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるように前記第1および第2電動機と前記接続断接手段とを制御する制御手段と、

(a)前記駆動源要素接続を解除した状態で前記内燃機関を停止させ、前記変速伝達手段により前記第1および第2電動機の一方のみを前記駆動軸に連結すると共に該第1および第2電動機の一方に動力を出力させているときに、前記内燃機関を始動させる機関始動条件が成立した場合には、前記第1および第2電動機の他方の回転数を前記駆動源要素接続が可能となるように調整し、
(b)前記駆動源要素接続を実行し、
(c)前記第1または第2電動機によるクランキングを伴って前記内燃機関を始動させる、ものである。

- 駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
動力を入出力可能な第1電動機と、
動力を入出力可能な第2電動機と、
前記第1および第2電動機のそれぞれと電力をやり取り可能な蓄電手段と、
前記第1電動機の回転軸に接続される第1要素と前記第2電動機の回転軸に接続される第2要素と前記内燃機関の機関軸に接続される第3要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された動力分配統合機構と、
前記第1電動機と前記第1要素との接続、前記第2電動機と前記第2要素との接続および前記内燃機関と前記第3要素との接続の何れかである駆動源要素接続と該駆動源要素接続の解除とを実行可能な接続断接手段と、
前記第1電動機の前記回転軸と前記第2電動機の前記回転軸との何れか一方または双方を前記駆動軸に選択的に連結可能であると共に、前記第1電動機からの動力と前記第2電動機からの動力とをそれぞれ所定の変速比で前記駆動軸に伝達することができる変速伝達手段と、
前記駆動軸に要求される動力である要求動力を設定する要求動力設定手段と、
前記駆動源要素接続を解除した状態で前記内燃機関を停止させ、前記変速伝達手段により前記第1および第2電動機の一方のみを前記駆動軸に連結すると共に該第1および第2電動機の一方に動力を出力させているときに、前記内燃機関を始動させる機関始動条件が成立した場合には、前記第1および第2電動機の他方の回転数を前記駆動源要素接続が可能となるように調整する回転数調整処理と、前記駆動源要素接続と、前記第1または第2電動機により前記内燃機関をクランキングする機関始動処理とを伴って、前記設定された要求動力に基づく動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるように前記第1および第2電動機と前記接続断接手段とを制御する制御手段と、
を備える動力出力装置。 - 前記回転数調整処理は、前記駆動軸との連結が解除されている前記第1および第2電動機の他方の回転数を前記駆動軸に連結されている前記第1および第2電動機の一方の回転数に基づく前記駆動源要素接続時における前記第1または第2要素の回転数に一致させる処理である請求項1に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段は、前記動力分配統合機構の前記第1および第2要素の何れか一方を前記駆動軸に連結可能な少なくとも1組の平行軸式ギヤ列を有する第1変速機構と、前記第1および第2要素の他方に対応した前記第1または第2電動機の回転軸を前記駆動軸に連結可能な少なくとも1組の平行軸式ギヤ列を有する第2変速機構とを含む平行軸式変速機である請求項1または2に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段は、前記動力分配統合機構の前記第1および第2要素の何れか一方に接続される入力要素と前記駆動軸に接続される出力要素と固定可能要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された第1変速用遊星歯車機構と、該第1変速用遊星歯車機構の前記固定可能要素を回転不能に固定可能な第1固定機構と、前記第1および第2要素の他方に対応した前記第1または第2電動機の回転軸に接続される入力要素と前記駆動軸に接続される出力要素と固定可能要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された第2変速用遊星歯車機構と、該第2変速用遊星歯車機構の前記固定可能要素を回転不能に固定可能な第2固定機構とを含む遊星歯車式変速機である請求項1または2に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段は、前記第1変速用遊星歯車機構および前記第2変速用遊星歯車機構の何れか一方の前記出力要素と前記固定可能要素との接続および該接続の解除を実行可能な変速用接続断接機構を更に含む請求項4に記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項1から5の何れかに記載の動力出力装置を備え、前記駆動軸からの動力により駆動される駆動輪を含むハイブリッド自動車。
- 駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
動力を入出力可能な第1電動機と、
動力を入出力可能な第2電動機と、
前記第1および第2電動機のそれぞれと電力をやり取り可能な蓄電手段と、

(b)前記駆動源要素接続を実行し、
(c)前記第1または第2電動機によるクランキングを伴って前記内燃機関を始動させる、動力出力装置の制御方法。 - 請求項8に記載の動力出力装置の制御方法において、
ステップ(a)から(c)の実行中に、前記駆動軸に要求される要求動力に基づく動力が出力されるように前記第1および第2電動機に対するトルク指令を設定する、動力出力装置の制御方法。
