Abstract
【解決手段】車両100に搭載される二次電池の充放電制御装置は、バッテリBの温度TBを検知する温度センサ42と、温度センサ42が検知した温度TB、および、バッテリBの充電状態に基づいて、バッテリBが充放電する電池電力を設定する制御装置30とを備える。制御装置30は、温度TBが高いほど充電状態が高くなるように、バッテリBに入出力される電池電力を設定する。

Description
本発明の他の局面に従うと、車両であって、上述のいずれかに記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置と、二次電池とを備える。
図1は、実施の形態1の二次電池の充放電制御装置を備える車両の概略ブロック図である。
図3は、本実施の形態の充放電制御装置によるSOCの制御を説明する図である。
図3および図4を参照して、曲線CV1は所定の温度(たとえば+25℃)におけるSOCの変動を示し、曲線CV2は高温時におけるSOCの変動を示す。つまり、本実施の形態ではバッテリの温度が高くなるにつれてSOCの変動の中心を高くする。ただし、バッテリに対して入出力される電池電力(図4の「電池入出力」)は、バッテリの温度によらず同じである。
図5を参照して、SOCが高くなるにつれてバッテリの開放電圧が高くなることが分かる。
図2に示す電池電力決定部133は、マップ記憶部136に記憶されるマップを温度TBに応じて適宜変更し、その変更したマップに基づいて電力値Pin/Poutを決定する。以下では、電池電力決定部133によるマップの変更について説明する。
図9を参照して、マップMP0はSOCの値に応じてバッテリの充電電力および放電電力を定めるためのものである。マップMP0にはα,β,γの3つのSOCの値が規定される。SOC値αはバッテリの放電とバッテリの充電とが切換わるときのSOCを示す値である。すなわち、バッテリのSOCがSOC値αより大きい状態ではバッテリの放電が優先的に行なわれ、バッテリのSOCがSOC値αより小さい状態ではバッテリの充電が優先的に行なわれる。
図11および図9を参照して、マップMP1はマップMP0に対してSOC値βが高SOC側に移動している点で異なる。
図13および図9を参照して、マップMP2はマップMP0に対してSOC値αが高SOC側に移動している点で異なる。
図15および図9を参照して、マップMP3はマップMP0に対してSOC値γが高SOC側に移動している点で異なる。
図17および図9を参照して、マップMP4はマップMP0に対してSOC値α、SOC値β、SOC値γを一様に高SOC側に移動させている点で異なる。
実施の形態2の二次電池の充放電制御装置を搭載する車両の構成は、図1に示す車両100の構成において、制御装置30を制御装置30Aに置き換えたものに等しい。また、制御装置30Aの構成は図2に示す制御装置30の構成において、電池電力決定部133を電池電力決定部133Aに置き換えたものに等しい。
図20は、図2の電池電力決定部133Aによる電力値Pin/Poutの決定処理の変形例を説明するフローチャートである。
なお、本実施の形態では動力分割機構によりエンジンの動力を車軸と発電機とに分割して伝達可能なシリーズ/パラレル型ハイブリッドシステムに適用した例を示した。しかし本発明は、発電機を駆動するためにのみエンジンを用い、発電機により発電された電力を使うモータでのみ車軸の駆動力を発生させるシリーズ型ハイブリッド自動車や、モータのみで走行する電気自動車にも適用できる。
Claims (6)
- 二次電池の充放電制御装置であって、
前記二次電池の電池温度を検出する温度検出部と、
前記二次電池の充電状態を検出する充電状態検出部と、
前記温度検出部が検出した前記電池温度、および、前記充電状態検出部が検出した前記充電状態に基づいて、前記二次電池が充放電する電池電力を設定する設定部とを備え、
前記設定部は、前記二次電池の放電と前記二次電池の充電とが切換わるときの前記充電状態を示す第1の値、前記第1の値よりも前記充電状態が低下した場合に、前記二次電池に充電される前記電池電力が制限値に達するときの前記充電状態を示す第2の値、および、前記第1の値よりも前記充電状態が上昇した場合に、前記二次電池から放電される前記電池電力が制限値に達するときの前記充電状態を示す第3の値の少なくとも1つを、前記電池温度が高くなるほど大きくなるよう設定し、前記第1から第3の値および前記充電状態検出部が検出した前記充電状態に基づいて、前記電池電力を設定する、二次電池の充放電制御装置。 - 前記設定部は、前記充電状態検出部が検出した前記充電状態の値の分布に基づいて、前記第1から第3の値のうち、設定対象の値を決定する、請求項1に記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置。
- 前記設定部は、前記充電状態が前記第1の値より小さくなる頻度が、前記充電状態が前記第1の値より大きくなる頻度より高い場合には、前記設定対象の値として前記第2の値を決定し、前記充電状態が前記第1の値より大きくなる頻度が、前記充電状態が前記第1の値より小さくなる頻度より高い場合には、前記設定対象の値として前記第3の値を決定する、請求項2に記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置。
- 前記設定部は、所定期間内に、前記二次電池の充電と前記二次電池の放電との切換えが所定回数以上繰返される場合には、前記設定対象の値として前記第1の値を決定する、請求項2に記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置。
- 前記二次電池は、リチウムイオン電池を含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池の充放電制御装置と、
前記二次電池とを備える、車両。
