Abstract
【解決手段】圧縮着火燃焼モードと火花点火燃焼モードに燃焼モードを切り替えて運転される内燃機関3の制御装置1であって、圧縮着火燃焼モード中、燃焼室3e内の作動ガスの温度の目標となる目標作動ガス温度TCYLGASを設定する目標作動ガス温度設定手段2と、圧縮着火燃焼モード中、燃焼室3e内の作動ガスの温度が目標作動ガス温度TCYLGASになるように、内部EGR量の目標となる目標内部EGR量INEGRCMDを設定する目標内部EGR量設定手段2と、目標内部EGR量INEGRCMDに応じて、燃焼モードを火花点火燃焼モードに切り替える燃焼モード切替手段2と、を備える。

ここで、TEXGASTは、エンジン3の運転状態に応じて今回、算出された燃焼ガス温度であり、具体的には、燃焼モードがSI燃焼モードのときには、吸気温TAおよび要求トルクPMCMDに応じて算出され、CI燃焼モードのときには、目標作動ガス温度TCYLGASおよび要求トルクPMCMDに応じて算出される。また、TEXGASZは、式(1)で算出された燃焼ガス温度の前回値であり、TDTGASは値1.0未満のなまし係数である。

ここで、右辺のNTCYLMAXは、最大充填量であり、燃焼室3eの容積と行程容積の和である。また、(TCYLGAS−TA)は、目標作動ガス温度と燃焼室3eに吸入される新気の温度との温度差を表し、(TEXGASZ−TA)は、燃焼ガスと新気との温度差を表す。したがって、両者の比(TCYLGAS−TA)/(TEXGASZ−TA)は、内部EGRによって上昇させることが可能な作動ガスの温度上昇分に対する、内部EGRによって上昇させるべき作動ガスの温度の上昇分の比を表す。したがって、この比にETAC*NTCYLMAXを乗算することによって、目標内部EGR量EGRINCMDを適切に算出することができる。

Claims (2)
- 燃焼室に供給された混合気を圧縮着火により燃焼させる圧縮着火燃焼モードと、火花点火により燃焼させる火花点火燃焼モードに、燃焼モードを切り替えて運転される内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記燃焼室に既燃ガスを残留させる内部EGR量を制御する内部EGR制御手段と、
前記圧縮着火燃焼モードにおいて、前記燃焼室内の作動ガスの温度の目標となる目標作動ガス温度を設定する目標作動ガス温度設定手段と、
前記圧縮着火燃焼モードにおいて、前記燃焼室内の作動ガスの温度が前記目標作動ガス温度になるように、前記内部EGR量の目標となる目標内部EGR量を設定する目標内部EGR量設定手段と、
前記目標内部EGR量に応じて、前記燃焼モードを前記火花点火燃焼モードに切り替える燃焼モード切替手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記燃焼室から排出された排ガスを吸気系に還流させる外部EGR量を制御する外部EGR制御手段と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段と、
当該検出された運転状態に応じて、前記内部EGR量と前記外部EGR量の和である総EGR量の目標となる目標総EGR量を設定する目標総EGR量設定手段と、をさらに備え、
前記燃焼モード切替手段は、前記目標内部EGR量が、負の値のとき、または前記目標総EGR量よりも多いときに、前記燃焼モードを前記火花点火燃焼モードに切り替えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
