Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明のビニルピロリドン系重合体粉末は、フィケンチャー法によるK値が50未満であると共に、粒子径が106μm以下の粒子の含有率が10質量%以下で、且つ前記粉末に含まれる金属量が5ppm以下である。

Description
1) (メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸シクロヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヒドロキシエチル等の(メタ)アクリル酸エステル類;
2) (メタ)アクリルアミド、及び、N−モノメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−モノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N−ジメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド等の(メタ)アクリルアミド誘導体類;
3) (メタ)アクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、ビニルピリジン、ビニルイミダゾール等の塩基性不飽和単量体;
4) ビニルホルムアミド、ビニルアセトアミド、ビニルオキサゾリドン等のビニルアミド類;
5) (メタ)アクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸等のカルボキシル基含有不飽和単量体;
6) 無水マレイン酸、無水イタコン酸等の不飽和酸無水物類;
7) 酢酸ビニル、プロピオン酸ビニル等のビニルエステル類;

或いはレーザー・プラズマ複合溶射、コールドスプレーなどを採用できる。溶射条件も特に限定されず、公知の条件を採用できる。

ポリビニルピロリドン水溶液を、加熱面密着型乾燥機で乾燥させたときに、加熱ロールの溶出による金属の混入を模擬するために、下記実験を行った。
金属イオン溶出量(μg/cm2)=金属イオン濃度(ppm)×液量(g)/浸漬表面積(cm2) …(3)
上記実験例1で用いたポリビニルピロリドン水溶液を、加熱面密着型乾燥機の伝熱面に塗布して乾燥し、薄いチップ状の乾燥物を得た。加熱面密着型乾燥機としては、ドラム回転式ドライヤー(カツラギ工業社製「ドラムドライヤー」、加熱ドラム表面積は1m2、圧着ロール数は2本)を用い、ドラム温度115℃、回転速度1.5rpmで乾燥した。
上記実験例2において、伝熱面を被覆した保護皮膜の種類をWC−Ni−Cr皮膜とした以外は、同じ条件でポリビニルピロリドン粉末を得た。なお、WC−Ni−Cr皮膜の成分組成は、WC:73質量%、Ni:7質量%、Cr2C3:20質量%である。
上記実験例2において、加熱面密着型乾燥機の伝熱面が溶射によって保護皮膜(Al2O3皮膜)で被覆されているものを用いる代わりに、伝熱面がメッキ法による硬質Cr皮膜(保護皮膜;膜厚は100μm)で被覆されている加熱面密着型乾燥機を用いる以外は、同じ条件で行なった。
上記実験例1で用いたポリビニルピロリドン水溶液を、濃度30%となるように水で希釈したのち(希釈しなければ噴霧できなかったため)、噴霧乾燥機であるスプレードライヤー(大河原製作所製「OD−22G」)を用いて乾燥し、ポリビニルピロリドン粉末を得た。乾燥条件は、熱風入口温度180℃、噴霧圧力4.2MPa、原液処理量48.9kg/時とした。
Claims (4)
- フィケンチャー法によるK値が50未満であるビニルピロリドン系重合体粉末であって、粒子径106μm以下の粒子の含有率が10質量%以下で、且つ前記粉末に含まれる金属量が5ppm以下であることを特徴とするビニルピロリドン系重合体粉末。
- フィケンチャー法によるK値が50未満であるビニルピロリドン系重合体を、濃度30〜70質量%の溶液とし、この溶液を加熱面密着型乾燥機の伝熱面に塗布して乾燥させたのち、得られた乾燥物を粒子径106μm以下の粒子の含有率が10質量%以下となるように粉砕してビニルピロリドン系重合体粉末を製造するに当たり、前記伝熱面が溶射によって形成された保護皮膜で被覆され、必要により封孔処理の施された加熱面密着型乾燥機を用いることを特徴とするビニルピロリドン系重合体粉末の製造方法。
- 溶射によって形成された保護皮膜で被覆され、必要により封孔処理の施された圧着ロールを備えた加熱面密着型乾燥機を用いる請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記保護皮膜は、Al、W、Ti、Si、Zr、Ni、Cu、Mo、Znよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の元素を含む皮膜で構成されている請求項2または3に記載の製造方法。
