Abstract
【解決手段】粒状のマンガン触媒が充填された塔本体の底部に原水が流入するチャンバー室2を形成し、このチャンバー室2の上面に設けた多数の分散ノズル8から原水をマンガン触媒充填層3に供給する上向流式マンガン接触塔である。各分散ノズル8は垂直なノズル本体9の上方に傘部12を備え、傘部12の下端をノズル本体9の上端よりも下方に延長した構造である。原水の均一供給が可能であり、マンガン触媒の摩耗抑制が可能である。

Description
図1は上向流式マンガン接触塔の全体を示す断面図であり、1は塔本体、2はその底部に形成された原水が流入するチャンバー室である。塔本体1の内部にはマンガン触媒充填層3が形成されており、比表面積が15m2/g程度、比重が3.5程度のβ型の二酸化マンガンからなる粒状のマンガン触媒4が充填されている。その粒径は有効径が0.3〜1.0mmである。5は塔本体1の上部に形成されたオーバーフロー部であり、マンガン触媒充填層3を通過し塔本体1の上端からオーバーフローした処理水を受け、流出管6に排出する。

Claims (5)
- 粒状のマンガン触媒が充填された塔本体の底部に原水が流入するチャンバー室を形成し、このチャンバー室の上面に設けた多数の分散ノズルから原水をマンガン触媒充填層に供給する上向流式マンガン接触塔であって、各分散ノズルは垂直なノズル本体の上方に傘部を備え、傘部の下端をノズル本体の上端よりも下方に延長した構造であることを特徴とする上向流式マンガン接触塔。
- 各分散ノズルは、ノズル本体の周囲にすり鉢状の凹部を備え、傘部の下端とすり鉢状の凹部との隙間から原水を供給する構造であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の上向流式マンガン接触塔。
- 各分散ノズルは、全周または両側に垂直壁状のセパレータを備えたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の上向流式マンガン接触塔。
- セパレータで囲まれた面積に対し、1000〜2500m/日で原水を供給した場合の、傘部の下端からの原水の流速を0.05〜1.5m/secとしたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の上向流式マンガン接触塔。
- ノズル本体はその下部にオリフィスを備えたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の上向流式マンガン接触塔。
