Abstract
【解決手段】ピエゾインジェクタを開弁させるべく、ノズルニードルのリフト量を上昇させる。詳しくは、ノズルニードルとピエゾインジェクタの内壁との間の流路面積が噴射口の開口面積よりも大きくなる最小値Lminよりも上昇させる。そして、その後、最小値Lminよりも低リフトとならない条件下、リフト量を小刻みに変動させることで、噴射される燃料の粒径の均一化を図る。

Description
以下、本発明にかかる燃料噴射制御装置をコモンレール式のディーゼル機関の燃料噴射制御装置に適用した第1の実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。
以下、第2の実施形態について、先の第1の実施形態との相違点を中心に図面を参照しつつ説明する。
なお、上記各実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。
Claims (8)
- アクチュエータの変位に応じてノズルニードルのリフト量を調節可能な燃料噴射弁を備える内燃機関の燃料噴射装置に適用され、前記アクチュエータを操作することで燃料噴射制御を行う燃料噴射制御装置において、
前記燃料噴射弁に対する燃料噴射の指令期間において、前記ノズルニードルのリフト量を複数回高低変動させる変動手段を備えることを特徴とする燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記変動手段は、前記燃料噴射弁の開弁状態を保ちつつ前記リフト量を変動させる処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記変動手段は、前記リフト量を変動させる処理における最低リフト量を、前記ノズルニードル及び前記燃料噴射弁の内壁によって形成される燃料の流路面積が前記燃料噴射弁の噴射口の流路面積以上となるリフト量とする請求項2記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記変動手段は、前記リフト量を周期的に変動させるものであって且つ、前記燃料噴射弁に供給される燃料の圧力に応じて前記変動の周期を可変設定することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記変動手段は、前記燃料噴射弁に供給される燃料の温度に応じて前記変動の周期を可変設定することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記アクチュエータがピエゾ素子からなり、
前記変動手段は、前記ピエゾ素子の電気的な状態量を調節することで前記ノズルニードルのリフト量を調節することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記内燃機関が、筒内噴射式の内燃機関であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
- 前記内燃機関がディーゼル機関であることを特徴とする請求項7記載の燃料噴射制御装置。
