Claims (12)
- 平面的に形成されたエアバッグ(10)と、少なくとも部分的にエアバッグ内へ延びる細長く形成された、流出開口部(33)を備えたガスジェネレータ(30)とを有し、
エアバッグ(10)が、端縁領域(14)を介して互いに結合された、布地からなる2つの側壁を有しており、
端縁領域(10)内に開口部(16)が配置されており、前記開口部を通してガスジェネレータ(30)が、ガスジェネレータ(30)の細長く形成された第1の部分(32)の複数の流出開口部(33)がエアバッグの内部に延在するように、延びており、
エアバッグ(10)の内部で開口部(16)の領域(24)内にガス案内部材(40)が配置されており、前記ガス案内部材が開口部の領域にある布地を前記流出開口部(33)から流出する熱いガスから保護する、エアバッグユニットにおいて、
前記ガス案内部材(40)が、プラスチックからなり、脚(42a、42b)を備えたU字状又はΩ形状の横断面を有する前方の部分(42)を有し、かつ布地と縫合、溶接又は接着されていることを特徴とするエアバッグユニット。 - 前記ガス案内部材が、前記前方の部分(42)の脚(42a、42b)を介して前記布地と結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記脚が、前記布地と縫合されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記ガスジェネレータの第2の部分(35)が、前記エアバッグの内部に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記ガス案内部材が、ほぼ円形の横断面を備えた後方の部分(45)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記ガス案内部材の後方の部分(45)が、ブラケットを用いて前記ガスジェネレータの第2の部分(35)上に挟持されていることを特徴とする請求項4と5に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記ガス案内部材(40)が、ポリアミド又はポリプロピレンからなることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記ガス案内部材の材厚が、0.4と0.8mmの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 材厚が、1.5と2.5mmの間にあることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記複数の流出開口部(33)が、前記ガスジェネレータの第1の部分(32)の筒状の外壁内に回転対称に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 後方の部分(45)が、前記ガスジェネレータ(30)を位置固定するための係止突出部(46)を有していることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記エアバッグ(10)が、開口部の領域においてL字状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
